I just wanted to thank you for the efforts of yourself and any others who have contributed to the information on the internet from Rockbridge County. To be able to see the actual image of my g-g-g-g grandfather's marriage bond with his signature (John Flint) on it was almost beyond belief for myself and other family members. We only started looking for information on July 5th of this year. The date of the marriage bond of 21st day of October, 1784 was awesome. I was impressed with the 1783 personal property tax records also. I check almost daily for any updates as we are stuck solid on trying to find out any information beyond that John Flint. Again, there is a family in Eastern Kentucky and Southwest Virginia that appreciates you dearly. | |
