Deeds Family Reunion to be held August 13, 2006 at Douthat State Park in Bath County, Virginia

Family of William Abraham Deeds, b.1808 - d. 1899 and Rachel Haynes Deeds, b.1815 - d.1876 of Bath County.

We hold the reunion at the upper picnic shelter in Douthat State Park, north of Clifton Forge, Virginia. We have a covered dish lunch at noon and music and memorial service following the meal. Some seating is provided by the picnic tables in the shelter, but lawn chairs are a good thing to bring. My mom is the person who puts the thing together, 540-862-4478. Submitted by Ron Wilson

The Malcomb Family Gathering will be held at Bee Run Pavilion #5, Sutton, Braxton County WV, on Saturday, June 7, 2003 starting at 11:00 a.m. till ??

It is requested all attending bring lawnchairs and food for their own families.

This line descends from John Malcomb and Mary Potts Malcomb circa Bath County VA - marriage date 1827.

Lines included are Malcomb, Williams, Lake, Pickens, Morrison, Ocheltree, and many others.

                                                                      23rd annual Waybright Reunion July 26, 2003

The 23rd annual Waybright reunion will be held on Saturday July 26th. The reunion will be held at Isaac Walton League lodge in Beverly West Virginia. Give me a holler if you need directions.

Bring a passing dish and your apatite as there is always plenty of good food. There will be games and activities for the young'uns, horse shoes for the young at heart, the cake walk is always a big hit and of course the auction. Not to mention the joy of just spending time with family and getting caught up on whats new or just reliving childhood memories. Since we have the lodge there is no need to worry about rain, of course we know it will not

Auction items will be appreciated

Come on out and join us in a fun filled day:) Looking forward to seeing YOU there......I do have maps to the lodge that I can send out.

15th Annual Boggess Family Reunion

The 15th Annual Boggess Family Reunion will be held in Fredericksburg VA, September 26-29, 2002. All Boggess families descending from the original Robert down thru his son, Henry (d1684/5) and grandson, Henry (1680-1727) and Mary Bennett Boggess are encouraged to attend. As many know, the Boggess names has many spellings, we encourage all to attend. This reunion is held in a different state each year centering on the locations where the Family has settled down thru the generations after leaving VA and WV. Attendees will be coming from numerous states across the US. If you cannot attend every day, please consider attending the Saturday evening dinner.

The Reunion will be based at the Wingate Inn in Fredericksburg. Plans: Friday, the 27th a tour of Northumberland County visiting the St. Stephen's Parish Church and family related sites; on Saturday, the 28th a tour of Fairfax County visiting the Pohick Church and family sites; Saturday evening the Family Dinner with speaker; on Sunday morning the family will gather for breakfast before returning to their homes. During these days, a great deal of time will be spent visiting with each other and exchanging information.

In the early years the Boggess family settled in Bath County. We are trying to contact descendants for a Reunion.
