I'm seeking information on the families of Albert BRUCE 1818-1890, and Jerusha Jane MILAM (born about 1817) from Bedford County. Albert and Jerusa married on December 8, 1848 in Bedford County, and had six children. On daughter, Martha Brown Bruce married John Dabney Reynolds.

Trying to connect the Bedford Co. BOWLES & BOLLING Family to John M. & Fanny Bolling Bowles who married 1795 in Henry Co., VA. She had a sister Nancy Bolling who married 1800 in Franklin Co. VA to William Joseph Bowles, brother to John M. On VA Mar. Bann, parents of Nancy were John and Mary Bolling. Any help appreciated.

I am seeking information on the Middleton family who were in Bedford County during the 1770 and ca. 1790 (some members of the family may have stayed in Bedford County.) A manuscript entitled "Synopsis of Mental Guesswork" by Hugh Calhoun Middleton, on file in the Herndon Collection of the Pennsylvania Genealogical Society, indicates that this family moved from Prince George's County, MD to Fairfax Co, VA, to Loudon Co, VA (I realize the descent of counties), to Fauquier Co., VA, to Bedford County, VA, some members of this family can be found in Botetourt County in the 1780's and 1790's before moving on to Kentucky.
In particular, I am looking for a will or cemetery record for Thomas (1707) and Anne (1712).
The members of this family are:
Thomas Middleton (b. 1707? Md) and Ann Bayne Middleton (1712-?)
Sons:
Thomas Middleton b. 1730's (wife Ann or Nancy, some sources say Elizabeth)
Walter Middleton b. 1730's wife Elizabeth Chadwell
Hatton Middleton b. 1730's
Benjamin Middleton b. ca. 1740
Sarah Middleton b. 1730's
Mary A. Middleton b. 1730 (stayed in Loudon Co. and later moved to KY. A Jacob Middleton wife Ankey moved with them. It is not clear if he was a son or grandson of Thomas (1707) and Ann.
In particular, I would like to find a marriage record for Thomas.
