Looking for birth family and pedigree of Susannah Wilkerson, born 1704 in Bedford, VA. She married William Weatherford Jr. (of New Kent, VA) in 1729 in the Bedford area. Chief Red Eagle (aka William Weatherford) was among her descendants. So am I.

My gr gr aunt was a WIMMER. Her name was Echo Martin WIMMER. She grew up in Floyd and Bedford Co., VA. Some of the family names were VEST, WILLIAMS, MARTIN, WIMMER, ROBERTSON, DEWEESE, STANDLY, BRADLEY, and MEDLEY.

I am interested in the Mayberry family of Bedford county. There has been a lot of information gathered by numerous persons. One of the oddities is that Frederick Mayberry (sometimes known as Jr) is listed as having married Priscilla Yokum (Yoakum) in 1792 in Bedford CO, VA. At that time, he would have been 35 years of age. Has anyone ever run across any documentation of a marriage prior to this one?
