MELTON, MILTON, WILSON -
Seek any information on who may be parents of Josiah MELTON/MILTON b. ca. 1818 who resided in Bedford Co. and married Mariah WILSON. A Samuel MELTON/MILTON (who was Josiah's brother?) married Susan's sister Mariah. In 1840 Bedford census a Mary MILTON is listed as head of household. Several other MILTONs of similar age lived in adjacent counties- Pleasant (Botetourt), Jubal (Roanoke), and William (Franklin). I presume all these came from east/central Virginia where this surname is more common?
