ALLEN, HARROLD -
Looking for copy of obit of Evalina Allen Harrold died Dec. 1, 1927. Her obit lists her gr-grandparents as William and Ann Allen. I need this for proof that John Allen is the son of William. Obit is on roots-web but submitter's e-mail address is no longer valid. His name is William Harrold. Any help would be greatly appreciated for either copy of obit or how to contact Mr. Harrold.

Looking for information about Tamsy Caroline Davis, born in 1848, married Martin Ellis SIMCOX. She was possibly the daughter of James C. DAVIS and Amelia "Millie" MURPHY. She's my 2nd Great Grandmother, her son Elbert SIMCOX moved to W.Va. to work in the lumber mills and the coal fields of Wyoming and McDowell Counties, married Harriett Susanna LAMBERT and had four children, the oldest of which was my Grandma Virgie Simcox. Married McKinley Smith MARSH who walked from Wilkes County, NC to W.Va. with his younger brother Lester in 1926 to work the timber for the mining companies. Any information would be most helpful,

The Militia Muster Rolls of Carroll Co. 1765-1815. Listed in Capt. Jonathan Isham's Company is one of my ancestors Joshua STEPHENS. Need help on finding a book or articles re: Capt. Jonathan Isham's Co. Have found "lots" on Capt. Flower Swift's Company but, nothing on Capt. Isham's Co. Any help would be appreciated.
