COLEMAN -
Seeking information on all Coleman families living in Carroll Co. in early 20th century.
Specifically the family of a John Coleman in 1910 census. He was in his sixties with a
much younger wife and small child. He died in Carroll Co. in 1915. Would like more information on
him and any of his descendants.

I am tring to locate a picture or pictures of the old school house at Foster Falls. I went to
school there as a child before attending the other school the name slips me now . I have been
back to where the school once stood but as you know the school was torn down to built a house.
This place played an important part in my life as a youngster growing up at the Childrens Home.
The name of the teacher still is in my mind but I just cant grasp it . I have gone back to the
childrens home several time's and have spoken to several folks that use to work at the Children's
Home but I can find out very little information . If you know anyone that can help I would be
greatful. Thanks

Based on certified copy of my mother-in-law's birth certificate, her mother was born in Carroll
County in 1893; her name was Minnie Atkins (her middle name may have been Alice). Any
information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
