Researching Oliver STANTLIFF/ Stanley (Sept. 29, 1784 - 1843)name for information on him and his descendants. Married Elizabeth (?) and had children; Halline/Hollin (born: abt 1810) Stantliff who married John (aka as Zack?) Senter; William Stantliff, (1814-1880) married first Elizabeth Spencer Vernon, 2nd Thursa Hawks; John Stantliff (born abt. 1820-25), married Susannah Hawks; Rebecca Stantliff, (born abt. 1825); marriage status unknown; Oliver Stantliff Jr., (born about 1827), served in the Civil War as a Confererate; and an unknown/namd female. Any information available about this family would be greatly appreciated.

ALLEY -
I was born in Sheeptown, VA in 1941. My father was pastoring the Church of God there and my parents lived in a log cabin owned by an Alley family. The woman's name was Hallie Alley, I don't know the man's name. They had a son named Darrell. Recently my mother, her sister and a brother visited that area and the house where I was born is still standing. I'm wondering if anyone can help me find out how old the house is, who built it, etc. I'm just curious. Thanks,
