JANNEY, RADFORD -
I am searching for an Isaac Janney Family, or any Janney that may be living in
Carroll County today. My grandfather was Robert Janney, son of Burwell and Mary
Radford Janney. The above Isaac was the son of Moses and Margaret Janney of
Floyd County Virginia and was an uncle of my grandfather.

MONTGOMERY, PHILLIPS, TURMAN, WILLIAMS -
Am seeking information on my G.G.Grandmother Launia or Laura Phillips. b.1859 Franklin Co.
Va. Old family members have told me recently, Laura had a brother and sister, (Tobias & Julia
Phillips) who I have found living with a Turman family in Carroll Co.Census.
1860#444/448. I have always been told Laura was raised by Turmans also. Julia b.1857.
Tobias b.1858. Laura was b.1859 so she was the next child. I cannot find her. Laura was married
to a Robert Montgomery who died 1880 leaving her with a child Robert Garfield
Montgomery. Laura went to WVa. and married Ben Williams 1888. died 1915. I need all
the help I can get. Thank you.
