I am inquiring on the parents of Bertha Leonard Easter who married C. Curtis Easter. They had three sons, Curtis Harold, Grover Ules, and Clyde Easter.
C. Curtis Easter was the son of Wilbert M. and Suattis Payne Easter. Bertha had a brother named Bartlett Easter. They were foster children.

I ran across the Carroll Co Deaths webpages while researching my great grandfather John J. Caudill (John Jackson Caudill). The Caudill infant death on the page of 1891 deaths, is a great-uncle no one in my living family even knew existed. Can you help me determine where this death was recorded and perhaps where John J. and Susan E. Caudill lived when they reported the death? Additionally, we would like to identify when Susan E. Caudill died and where she is buried. The family oral history indicates that she died around 1900 in child birth, and may be buried on Bull Head mountain near Sparta, NC. Her living children at that point were Ida Victoria Caudill (my grandmother) and Rosa Belle Caudill.

Please help me find info about my GGM, Julia, or Julia Ann or July Dalton, b. in Carroll County probably around 1855. Julia had at least two children, both born in Carroll County. They are: Dora Dalton, b. about 1879 and William (Will) Riley Dalton, b. in 1881. William Riley is my grandfather. Julia may or may not have been married when she had Dora and William Riley. In that context, I would also appreciate any info on William H.C. Dalton or H.C. Dalton, who probably is the father of the two children. Thanks.
