BURNETT, FELTS, JONES -
We are looking for the parents and siblings of George Washington "Wash" JONES who was born 5 Apr 1825 in Edgecombe Co., North Carolina. We have hit a dead end. (b. 1858); Lafyette (b. 1861); Stephen Montevielle (186601942); Albert Lee (b. 1869); and Robert E. (1869-1870). All the children were born in Carroll Co. VA. BOLEN -
I am researching the Bolen family. Daniel C. Bolen (1831-1904) moved to Fayette Co. Va (now WV) probably just prior to the Civil War and served in the 7th WV Cav. (Union). I have found William B. Bolen (1827-1862), who appears to be a brother to Daniel, who served and died with the 29th Va Inf. (Confederate). If my research is correct, they were two of the sons of Isaac Bolen, and may have been brothers to a David Bolen, whose son David served as Judge of the County Court in Carroll Co around 1880. Isaac's father appears to have been Benjamin. Has anyone else done research on this line, or have information that may confirm or disprove my findings?

JENNINGS, LINDSEY, OGLE -
Am trying to find any information about William Lindsey (arrived in Montgomery/now Carroll around 1780)and/or his family. This William acquired land on the Big Reed Island Creek that had originally been settled around 1774 by William and Elizabeth (Ogle) Jennings. We know that Henry Lindsey lived on this property later but have no firm evidence of his paternity with William Lindsey, nor do we have any documented information as to anyone else in William's family. Any info about where this William (who acquired the Jennings tract) may have come from or who his people were would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
