JOHNSON, TAYLOR -
I think that my great grandfather died in a fire accident in Carroll, Va. about 1889. He had
been living in Surry Co. Mt. Airy, NC and was married to Tempy Taylor Johnson.
They were the parents of my grandfather, Andrew K. Johnson. I would appreciate any leads
or info. on Lewis A. Johnson. ... it is a real mystery. Surely, it would have been in
the newspaper, but I don't which one. He was young and I guess a drunk...I don't know. Please
if anyone has any leads, please contact me. Thanks so much.

any one
has any information as to the parentage of Oliver, please let me know. I have been searching for
over 14 yrs for this information to no avail. Thank you very much

ALLEY, HAMILTON, LYONS, PORTER,
SISK, WILLIAMS -
I am looking for information on the family of Elisha Sisk (b. about 1843). He appears on
the 1870 census for Sulphur Springs, Carroll Co., with his wife Sarah (Alley) Sisk.
Elisha Sisk and Sarah Matilda Alley had eight children: Robert Wilson (m. Maggie
Williams), William Kelly, John, James Anderson (m. Sarah B. Lyons), Martha Jane
(m. George Hamilton), Elisha Monroe, Margaret J. (believed to have m. Jackson
Porter), and Charles Crockett Sisk (m. Elizabeth Florence Lyons). If anyone
has any information on the above people I'd appreciate your help.
Thank-you,
