Marriage bond between Rachel Lee and Drury Bell of Amherst Co. Virginia dated Jan. 8, 1789, bondsmen Drury Bell and Gabriel Phillips. Attached to the bond is a hand-witten note from the executors of William Lee, deceased, given permission for his daughter Rachel to marry Drury Bell (evidently she was underage and had to get consent.)
