Charlotte Co. Will Book 3, 1805-1814 p. 88 - Will of Lazarus Webb - W.W. 1 Feb, 1808, W.P. 5 Apr. 1808
" I will and bequeath unto my brother George Webb my youngest horse colt as his lawful property against the claims of any person or persons whatsoever. Also I will and bequeath unto my brother Thomas Webb, Jr. four pounds Virginia Currency to be drawn from my estate. And the residue of my estate I will and bequeath unto my wife Fanny as her lawful have and to hold forever...This I confess to be my last will and testament as it is appointed for all men once to die, as witness my hand and seal this 1st day of February 1808." This will was presented in Court 5 April 1808 "by testimony of Singleton Foster and George Neville - ordered that Fanny Webb his widow and Thomas Webb his father who is next of kin to appear at June court to contest the validity of said will if they see reason to do so." 6 June 1808 - will not contested.
