Charlotte Co., VA Deed Book 33 page 466: "Know all men by these presents that I, Martha E. Hanewinckel, do hereby appoint and substitute my husnband Christopher L. H. Hanewinckel as Trustee in the place of E.E. Hundley Trustee in a deed of settlement executed by me on the 27 day of August 1870, and duly recorded in the clerks office of Charlotte County Court 8th Septm 1870, and I hereby request the said E.E. Hundley to turn over all monies and property held by him as such trustee to the said Christopher L.H. Hanewinckel, the same to be held by him upon the same trustee &c as are declared in said deed of settlement, witness my hand and seal this 17th day of June 1872. Martha E. Hanewinckel (seal) State of Virginia Charlotte County S.C. I. William A. Smith a commissioner in Chancery of the County Court of Charlotte County do hereby certify that Martha E. Hanewinckel whose name is signed to the writing above bearing date 17th June 1872 has acknowledged the same before me in my county aforesaid given under my hand the 18th day of June 1872. Wm. A Smith, Comm. Chacy. In the clerks office of Charlotte County Court June 19th 1872, the foregoing writing together with the certificate of its acknowledgement as to Martha E. Hanewinckel whose name is signed thereto was this day filed in this office and admitted to record. Teste. H.A. Carrington"
