I don't know of a way to save the conversations in the chat room. Windows' Cut & Paste doesn't work for me, either. I have been able to "save" the chat, by first: using the mouse to highlight the part I want saved, second: use the Ctrl-C keys to save that to the clipboard, third: opening MS Notepad and use the Ctrl-V keys to paste the clipboard to Notpad, and fourth: printing the result. I suggest you have a pencil & paper handy to take notes.
