This Indenture made ye Sixteenth day of July In ye year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and thirty nine Between Francs Tucker of the County of Amelia of ye one part and Abraham Crowder of the County of Prince George of the other part Witnesseth that ye Said Frans Tucker for and in Consideration of One Shilling of Lawfull money of England to him in hand paid before the Sealing and delivery hereof ye Receipt whereof he ye sd Francs Tucker doth hereby acknowledge . . . and by these presents doth Grant Bargain and Sell unto ye said Abram Crowder . . . all that part and parcell of Land Scituate lying and Being on the uper Side of Winticomick Creek between Bevils Lines and aJoing the Sd Abraham Crowders Lines and the Sd Creek Containing by Estimation fifty acres of land be the Same more or less . . . To have and to hold the sd land and premisses herein before mentioned and Intended to be hereby Granted Bargained and Sold with their and Every of their apurtenances unto the Said Abraham Crowder . . . from the day of the date hereof for and during the full end and term of one whole year from thence next Ensuing and fully to be Compleat . . .
