This Indenture made the tenth day of October In the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and forty One Between Robert Tucker Senr. of the County of Amelia of the One part and Robert Tucker Junr. of the Said County of the other part Witnesseth that the Said Robert Tucker Senior for and in consideration of the Sum of One hundred pounds Currant money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the Said Robert Tucker Junior before the Ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof he doth herby acknowledge and thereof and of every part and parcel thereof doth fully clearly and absolutely acquit and discharge the Said Robert Tucker Senior his Executors & Administrators by these presents and for divers other good causes and considerations him hereunto moving he the Said Robert Tucker Senior hath granted Bargained Sold and confirmed and by these presents Doth grant bargain Sell and confirm Unto the Said Robert Tucker Junior his heirs and assigns One certain tract or parcell of Land lying and being in the County of Amelia and on the Lower Side of Wintocomake Creek Containing by Estimation One hundred Sixty five and a half Acres of Land (To Witt) Beginning at a Butterwood by the side of a great Branch against the great Bever Pond thence East twenty Six Degrees South one hundred and Seventy poles to a corner Shrub white Oak thence a Strait Line to the Road thence up the Road to John Tuckers Spring Branch thence down the Said Branch to the Creek thence up the Creek as it meanders to the Beginning . . . Memorandum the tenth day of October 1741 that Livery and Seizin of the within Land and premises was made by the within named Robert Tucker Senior his heirs and Assigns to the within named Robert Tucker Senior according to the form and Effect of this Deed. Signed by Robert Tucker and witnessed by John Powell, Robt. Coleman, and John Tucker (by his mark).

At a Court held for Amelia County October 16th 1741 Robert Tucker presented and acknowledged this his Deed with Livery and Seizin Endors'd to Robert Tucker, Junr. which is ordered to be recorded.
