This Indenture made the thirteenth day of December in the Year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and forty two Between Thomas Tucker of the County of Brunswick of the one part and Elizabeth Willard of the County of Charles City of the other part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Tucker for and in Consideration of Thirty two pounds Current Money of Virginia to him in hand paid . . . by these presents He the said Thomas Tucker hath granted bargained and sold aliened and Confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell alien and Confirm unto the said Elizabeth Willard her heirs and assigns foever All that messuage Tract or parcel of Land Contining by estimation two hundred and thirty five acres lying and being on the South side of Nottoway River in the County of Brunswick aforesaid and bounded as followeth to wit Beginning at a Rock Stone on the South side of the Rockey Run a Corner of Richard Moor's Land thence West by North one hundred and fifty eight poles to three trees chopt inwards in Thomas Dean's Line then by Dean's Line South twenty five Degrees East sixty pole to a white oak and West one hundred and forty five poles to a red oak thence South fifteen Degrees East one hundred and eight poles to a red oak thence South Eighty two Degrees East two hundred and sixty seven poles to ared oak a Line tree of the said Moor's Land thence by Moor's Lines North twenty six Degrees West thirty three poles to a red oak and North one hundred and forty four poles to the Beginning which said Tract or parcel of Land was formerly granted to Charles Kimball by Patent bearing date the second day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Twenty four and by the said Charles Kimball sold and Conveyed to one William Moore who sold and Conveyed the same to the said Thomas Tucker by Deeds of Lease and Release acknowledged and Recorded in the County Court of Brunswick the first day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty Eight . . . At a Court held for Brunswick County Feby the 3d 1742. This Indenture was acknowledged by Thomas Tucker one of the parties and order'd to be Recorded.
