In the name of God Amen I David Tucker in well knowing that is appointed once for all men to die do hereby Constitute ordain this to be my last will and testament in manner following Viz. I give all my lands to my three sons George Joseph and Thomas to be equally divided between them to them and their heirs forever. But if any of my sons should died before they marry or come of age my desire is that their part of my land should be equally divided between my Surviving Sons. Item I give to my daughter Peggy Taylor Tucker one hundred pounds to her and her heirs forever. But if she should die before she comes of age or marries my desire is that it shall be equally divided between her brothers the (sic) living to them and their heirs forever. Item all the residue of my estate I give to my three Sons George Joseph and Thomas and my daughter Peggy Taylor Tucker to them and their heirs forever to be equally divided between them and their heirs forever to be equally divided between them but if any of them die before they come of age or marry their part to do to the Survivors of them and their heirs forever. I appoint my Brother Sterling and brother Hartwell Jointly or Singularly as they may think proper to act guardians for all my children untill they severally come of age. My Desire is that my executor hereafter named keep my Estate together undivided untill my son George comes of age or marry or divide it any time before if they think proper. Lastly I appoint my brothers Sterling and Hartwell Tucker executors to this my last will and testament revoking all other Wills heretofore made by me My desire is that my Executors shall not be bound to give Security for their Executorship nor my Estate appraised. Brunswick county Court February 26th 1816. This last will and testament of David Tucker decd. was proved by the oaths of James Rice and John Tucker witnesses thereto and ordered to be Recorded.
