I John Tucker of Martins Brandon Parish and County of Prince George being sick and weak but of sound and perfect memory thanks be given to God for the same, do constitute appoint and Ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following. Impts. I Bequeath my soul to God that gave it me hopeing by the Merritts of Jesus Christ my redeamer to Inherritt Eternall Life and my Body to be __________ where it came to be decently Buried at the Discretion of my Executor hereafter mentioned. Item: I give and Bequeath my Bed and Bedstead and Bedclothes? belonging thereto to Elizabeth Jackson my God Daughter. Item: I give and Bequeath to Ann Jackson Widow five hundred and fifty pounds of Tobacco Due from Thomas Jackson. Item: I give and bequeath unto Mary Thornhill One Barrell of Indican Corn. Item: I give and bequeath unto Thomas Daniell my Comblett? Coatt. Item: I give and bequeath unto James Craig my old Cloa__s. Item: I give and bequeath Wm. Smith a Stuft Coat. It is my Will and Desire that the widow Jackson should be fully satisfied for my board and the trouble of her and ______ ___ what_______ ______ ____ is requisite. Item do give to the Widow Blayton halfe a Barrell of Corn. And I do Ordain constitute and appoint Ann Jackson Widow my whole and sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament to see that all my Desire herein is faithfully Discharged. And it is my Desire that after my Debts are paid that my Executrix Shll Equally Divide the Estate Left the one half I do bequeath to my funerale and Charges there arising and other halfe to be Left to the poor of this Parish where it shall be thought most wanting by my Executrix, as Witness my hand the Day and year above mentioned. At a Court held for Pr. Geo. County on the Second Tuesday November 1716 being the thirteenth Day of the said month. The above written Last Will and Testament of John Tucker Decd. was Exhibitted into Court by Anne Jackson the Executrix therein Named who made Oath thereto and it being proved by the Oaths of Thomas Daniel and Eliza. Jackson _____ ___ is Admitted to Record and a Certificate for Obtaining a probate of the sd. Will is Ordered to be granted the said Ann Jackson Exr. as aforesaid.
