Mrs. Joseph C. Williams, traveling salesman for C. W. Antrim in Virginia
has been very ill with fever at his home near Chase City. This will explain to his friends in Virginia
and North Carolina who he has not called on them.

Mrs.
Joseph C. Williams traveling salesman for C. W. Antrim & Sons of Richmond,
died from complication of ailments at his home here yesterday
evening. He was 45 years old and leaves
a widow and four young children. He had
an extensive acquaintance and was a man of high character enjoying the
confidence and esteem of all classes of people. A gentleman of attractive demeanor, kind impulses, generous and
warm hearted, he made and held many sincere fiends and his death is greatly
deplored.
