Built in 1888 under Rev. W.R. Smithey, with six members: J.H. Hagood, Mrs. Rosa Northington, Mrs. Florence Hagood, Mrs. Viola Montgomery, Dr. Sterling Northington and James Davis.  Mrs. Ann Perkinson donated the land. In 1909 Mrs. Ann Perkinson sold more land for $100 with the condition Mr. Samuel Montgomery be buried on the lot with his wife adjoining the church lot.

My great grandfather Samuel Northington Montgomery and Emma Jane (Bugg) Montgomery are buried behind this church in a small family plot.  There are also several grand children buried along with Samuel and Emma.
