Aug. 9

- Overseer of the Poor Dist. #2 to bind Reuben Marr to Martin Docter to learn the trade of a blacksmith. He is 13 yrs old this month. John Bonehart to whom he was formerly bound is to remove from this county to the French Broad and relinquishes his rights under the indenture.

Oct. 11
- Charles Catlett is appointed guardian to Mary Carson, orphan of Simon.
- Overseer of Poor Dist. #1 is to bind Joseph Houton to Jacob Johnston to learn the trade of a blue dyer and reed maker. He is 17 yrs old Jan. 13 next.
- David Lionberger is appointed guardian to James Whealy, orphan of Thomas.
- George Buswell is appointed guardian to Elizabeth Whealy, orphan of Thomas.

Oct. 12
- Barbara Strickler is appointed guardian to Margaret and Catherine Strickler, orphans of Joseph.
- Abraham Strickler is appointed guardian to Daniel Strickler and Joseph Strickler, orphans of Joseph, dec.

Nov. 9
- Overseer of the Poor Dist. #1 is to bind William Jenkins, orphan of George to John Cline to learn the trade of blacksmith. He is 17 yrs old 5th this month.

Dec. 13
- Overseer of Poor Dist. #1 to bind Andrew Barrington, orphan of Ann, to John Evans to learn the trade of a joiner. 13 yrs old June or July next.
- Same to bind Mary Barrington, orphan of Ann, to Dr. Jacob Neff.

Jan. 11

- Overseer of the Poor Dist. #2 is to bind William Parks, son of Eliz. to Michael Comer Sr. He is 12 yrs old Feb. 12, last.
- Same is also to procure places for James and Nancy Parks, children of said Elizabeth.
- Overseer of Poor Dist. #1 is to bind Catherine Brandenburg, orphan of Eve Shuster, late Brandenburg, dec. to John Gaw.

- Jacob Huddle, guardian of Conrad Huddle, orphan of David, is to bind his ward Conrad to Abraham Brewbaker to learn the trade of a cooper.
- Overseer of Poor Dist. #1 is to bind John McFall to Jacob Reager to learn the trade of a blacksmith. He is about 17 yrs old.
- Overseer of Poor Dist. #2 is to bind Uriah Clevenger to Samuel Ferrer to learn the trade of a miller.
- Overseer of Poor to bind George, a free negro, to Samuel Hup. He is 13 yrs old Feb. 28, next.
- Overseer of Poor Dist. #1 to bind John Jenkins to Leonard Balthis Jr. to learn the trade of blacksmith. He is 15 yrs old Sept. 3, next.
- Christina Wiseman, widow of Thomas Wiseman is appointed guardian to Abraham Wiseman, Jacob Wiseman, Christina Wiseman and William Wiseman orphans of Thomas dec. under age 14.

April
- Overseer of Poor Dist. #1 is to bind James Anderson to Jacob Hoak to learn the trade of a stonemason.

June 11
- Andrew Zirkle is appointed guardian to Magdalena Zirkle, Elizabeth Zirkle, John Zirkle and Catherine Zirkle, orphans of Michael Zirkle under 14.
- Overseer of the Poor Dist. #1 is to bind George Jenkins, orphan, to Jacob Parrott to learn the trade of a weaver.

July 11
- Polly Kendrick chose John Boyle as her guardian being over 14 yrs old.

Sept. 12
- Philip Spengler is appointed guardian to Abraham Spengler, orphan of John Spengler, under age 14.
- Ulrich Beidler, Abraham Beidler and Jacob Beidler, chose their father, Abraham Beidler as guardian and said Abraham is appointed guardian to Susannah Beidler child of said Abraham under age 14.
- John Gochenour chose Jacob Gochenour as his guardian and Jacob Gochenour is appointed guardian to David Gochenour.
- Overseer of Poor Dist. #2 to bind James Fuget to William Whitson to learn the business of a farmer. He is 5 yrs. old Oct. 10, next.
- Overseer of Poor Dist. #2 to Thomas Jones to William Fish to learn to read and cast up accounts and when he reaches the age of 21 is to give him a decent suit of clothes. He is 10 yrs old 24th this month.
- Overseer of Poor Dist. #2 is to bind John Fleming, a base born child of Mary Fleming, 3 yrs old the first of Aug. last, to John Offenbacker to learn the business of farming.
- Overseer of Poor to bind William Clark to John Balthis to learn the trade of blacksmith. He is 14 yrs old May next.

Oct 10
- Polly Hollingsworth chose John Brumback as her guardian, over 14 years old.
- Isaac Fallice, orphan of Jacob, chose Benjamin Wood as guardian.
- William Taylor, orphan of Charles, shoce John Taylor as guardian.

Dec. 12
- Barbare Werner is appointed guardian to Philip, Sophia, Elizabeth, Catherine, Peter and Sarah Werner, orphans of Philip dec. under age 14.
- Overseer of Poor Dist. #1 is to bind John Caffery, a base born child of Alley Caffrey to Wiliam Fitrow to learn farming.

Jan. 9

- Overseer of the Poor Dist. #1 is to bind margaret Thomberger, orphan of William to Peter Black. She is 7 yrs old Oct. 14, past.
- William Greedy is to show cause why his children should not be taken from him and bound out according to law.
- Henry Huddle, guardian to George, orphan of George, is to bind his ward to George Shreck to learn the trade of a tanner. He is 17 yrs old Dec. 18, last.
- Jacob Huddle, guardian to David, orphan of David, is to bind his ward to John Fernsler to learn the trade of a tailor.

Mar. 13
- Overseer of the Poor Dist. #1 is to bind Catherine Albright, 12 yrs old Sept. last and Charles Samuels, 9 yrs old Jan. 21, last, to John Hupp to learn the business of a farmer.
- Overseer of the Poor Dist. #1 to bind Thomas Windsor to George Smith to learn the business of a millwright. He is 17 yrs old 30th this mo.
