FIELD, KELLY,
SLAUGHTER -
Trying to tie my Jane Field born about 1785 in VA, married George Kelly 2/17/1803
in Culpeper by Fredrick Kabler. Jane and George Kelly moved to Ohio and Daviess County
Kentucky by 1805, and alway lived near other Field families, mostly Captain Benjamin
Field and his children by Mildred Slaughter. Would love to prove a relationship
between Jane Field and Captain Benjamin Field. She would have been about 5 years
old when he married Mildred Slaughter. Jane named her children: Benjamin, Mildred, Jemima,
Ruth,Harriett, Elizabeth, Agnes, Mary "Polly", Barnett, Thomas and George W.. Some of these are
definitely Field names. Thanks for any help!

MASSIE -
Desparately seeking any info. on Margaret Walker Massie, born approx. 1907 to a prominent
Virgnia family. She was quite possibly an only child. She gave birth to a daughter in 1927 in
Wash. DC, my mother. I'm sure this info. on the child is not well known. Would like to help my
mother gather more information on her biological family.

HILL -
I am looking for a William Hill, born in 1775 in VA. He was in TN. by at least 1813 when
his son William was born. I have information that he died around 1850 but the place is unknown.
His son William was in Rutherford Co. TN., in 1840 and I have his whereabouts in TN. after that
time. I do not know the county/ies that the senior William may have lived while in TN.

DELPH, TAYLOR -
Looking for information on a Merriman/ Merryman/ Merimon Delph. He was born Feb 7, 1786 in
Virginia and died Sep 30, 1871 in Barren Co, Ky (I believe- he was there on the census in 1870).
He was in Warren Co, KY by the 1820 census, was in Barren County for the 1830, 1840, 1850, 1860
and 1870 census. He was first married to a Lucinda Taylor born May 3,1793 UNKNOWN and died
May 21, 1849 (again I believe Barren Co., KY). I have him with 8 children, I only have
information on two. Would appreciate any leads.

I am looking for Charles Smith born abt 1720 some where in Virginia. Her married a
Margraret ???? and they had the following children: John born abt 1745, Ann born abt 1746, Robert
born abt 1746, Jenny born abt 1748, Jame born abt 1750, Charles born abt 1752, Daniel born 1752,
William born 1753, and Margaret born abt 1776. Charles died in Greene county Tennessee abt 1797

Looking for information on the family of Henry Petry Bowman [b 11 Aug 1854 in
Harrisonburg, Va, died 11 Mar 1934] and Clarrisa Thompson [b 14 Apr 1855 died 1 Oct 1928
buried in Manassas. I know they had 3 children William Joseph [b 4 Jan 1876, buried in Covington
Va Cemetery]; Ida Daisy [b 17 Apr 1881, died 20 May 1963 buried Oakton Church Cemetery, Manassas
Va]; John Henry [b 27 Sep 1877 left home young and never heard from again]. John Henry is the one

Elizabeth. J.P. married Lucinda Batts, they can be found in Robertson County, TN, in 1850
and Graves County, KY, in 1860.

He was in the US Army in 1836 discharged 1839. Have lost trace of him. Had brothers Michael,

I'm trying to find Jane/Jennie Thompson, daughter of Robert Thompson and his second
wife, the widow Katherine Hammock. Jane married Joel Simmons of VA probably around
1778. Joel was a Revolutionary War veteran. I have been told Jane was deceased by 1828 prior to
Joel's move to IN. Their first child was named Robert. I'd like any information on Jane that you
might know of. Thank you!

I am looking for Charles Edgar Rau born in Edinburgh VA 2 Jun 1872 and his wife Mary
Elizabeth Ruse. Charles' parents were John and Sarah. Moved to Grafton WV? Charles and
Katherine and JT were the only children of John and Sarah that I know. Any information would be
greatly appreciated. Hitting brick walls seems there isn't any information everywhere I've

FROST -
Searching for any information on Gabriel Frost. born 1786 in Virginia . Was registered in
the War of 1812, but was reported absent. He was in 7 Regiment (Barbee's) Kentucky
Militia. First known wife was Sarah Unknown. Do not know if he had a wife before her, and also do
not know where they were married. Children that are Gabriel's and possibly Sarah's are Mahala
born 1818 in Law. Co. Ark and Morning born 1826 in Ark. All other information I have on Gabriel
is when he was in Ark. He was in Ark from at least 1818 till death 1875.

BAKER, VANDERGRIFT -
I am searching for any information on Conrad G. Baker and his family. I don't have much on
him or his parents but I know he died in 1857 in OH and he was born somewhere in VA. He married
Rebecca Vandergrift who was also born somewhere in VA. They had 9 children, of which only
one was a boy. If anyone can help me to find some information on either Conrad or Rebecca I would
greatly appreciate it.
