CHAMBERLAIN, MASON -
I would like any information on Davis Chamberlain who was married to Margaret
Mason. He was in Russell Co., Ky. in 1830 census and listed he was born in Va. Who were
his parents and how did he get so much land in Ky? Any help would be appreciated.

BACCUS, CAYLOR, HESSAR, SNIDER -
Henry Snider, born 13 JUN 1774, Virginia, possibly married Elizabeth Hessar in Ross
county Ohio between 1801 and 1810. Henry appeared on a 1806 tax roll in Ross county. He was
joined by a Jacob Snider born before 1775 who married a Mary Caylor in Loudon
county and by a William, who married a Sarah Baccus in Fayette co, PA in 1801 (previously
Monongalia co. VA.) Any help in finding the relationship of these 3 Sniders (brothers) or
where they came from would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My g-g father Winser SMITH, b 1816 IN Deerfield, MA, m Mary E, b ca 1822 in VA...so far, I
can find no record of a marriage, although they were listed in various censuses in various states
over the years, and her info stayed the same My only hope is, that his first name is not common,
and there may be a record someplace

I am researching my Husband's family and have a Levi Williams that was born in 1777 in
Virginia. Can not find where he was born or the exact date. He came to Guernsey County, Ohio, and
helped build the Zane Trace through Guernsey Co. with Zane. I am trying to find his parents and

Charles Rhody/ Rudy Married Catherine Frey in Shenandoah Va 1850 Does any
one have any information on this couple. Looking for the parents or sibling. Charles was b; 1827,
Catherine b;1833 Children we know of are, Harvey b;1852, Sarah b;1859, John b;11/2/1862 d;5/51935
( my line)Md, Child unreadable name b;1865, Catherine b;1870 WV, May b;1872 OH. Charles was a
black smith and moved around as you can see all of there children were born in different city and
states.

SHAKESPEARE, STANFIELD -
Jennifer Shakespeare married Robert Stanfield about 1723 in Bristo Parish, Prince
George County, Virginia. The Stanfields originated in England. They had a child, Robert,
b. 11 Mar 1729 in this same location in VA (according to records found in genealogy website). I
am searching for her parents and origination. I'm hoping marriage records or the child's birth
records might contain clues.

between 1776 and 1780. He might have had a brother named Joseph. Both migrated to Georgia before

MORIE -
I'm looking for a connection to the Mayre family of Fredericksburg. My family connection
MAY BE names spelled MARIE, MORIE, MOREE, but pronounced the same. Family
researchers suppose our Morie family was related to a James Morie, but we know
nothing about the family for sure beyond Isaac Marion Morie, Sr. b.31 Dec 1793, in North
Carolina; m. 15 Sept 1821 in Jefferson County, TN to Sidda (Lucinda?) Harris, b. 10 May
1783,in North Carolina, d. 10 Apr 1878 in Jefferson County, TN. I have proof of the generations
following Isaac and Sidda, if anyone is interested, I will share. I'm grasping at straws, I
realize, but the name is spelled so many ways, I thought I'd try.

STAPLES, TURNER -
Hi, I am trying to find a John Burton Staples. He is said to have been born in Culpeper
Co. Va. in 1785. I have been unable to find a Staples family that he fits into in
Culpeper, or a Staples family at all. He had a son that is named Charles Richard that is
also said to have been born in Virginia in 1829, if he was born in Va., then he has some older
sibs that where also probably born in Virginia, there names are: Samuel H., Martha Ann, William,
and Lucy Ann. He married, it is said, on May 1818 in Va. to Nancy Ann Turner. She is said
to be born in Hawksnest, Fayette Co., WV. The Census' that I have found for the couple give her
birth between 1792 and 1810, depending on which one you look at. However, her birth is given as
Nov 1782, which does not enter into the census age???? The couple is said to have left Va., and
moved to Tennesse and by 1830 are in Kentucky. If this is true, it is likely that Charles Richard
and possibly a few of his older sibs where actually born in Tn and not Va. As you can see, things
are not equallying out, so any help, hints or ideas would be appreciated.

JENNINGS, KELSO, KING -
Looking for information on Kelso, Whose name may have been King before coming to
Tenn. My grandfather was Harvey Kelso wife Eula Jennings. On my grandfather death
certifate His father was listed as George Kelso, Wife Mary? both from Va. I located my
grandfather Harvey on the 1920 census in Kelso Tenn. Outside of Fayetteville (lincoln) Tenn. They
would be either Mullato or African American. My Harvey was born in 1889.
