HAYES, HAYS, NAYLOR -
I am trying to find the origin of my ancestor John HAYES (HAYS) who arrived in
Kanawha County, West Virginia in the 1790s. He (or perhaps his son) had children named Stephen,
Jacob, William and John. They may have travelled with a NAYLOR family. That's all I know
and I can't get anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

BOATWRIGHT, HAMILTON, LEWIS, RANSON, SMITH -
Looking for the birthplace, parents or any information on John W (Washington?) HAMILTON.
He married Rebecca Boatwright October, 1812 in Cumberland County, Virginia and he died
there in 1827. His children were Anne, Sarah who m. Wm. Smith, Mary Washington who m.
Alexander Ranson, Louisa C who m. John J. Boatwright and Augustus Marion
Hamilton who m. Virginia Lewis. I can find no connection to any other
Hamiltons. Any clues at all will be most welcome.

1785 Madison Co. KY. His father was theoretically from Virginia and may have immigrated from

BURNETT, GLOVER -
I am searching for the parents of Thomas Flippin BURNETT, b. 23 Jan 1856, d. 26 Sep 1915.
He married Mary Etta GLOVER in Obion County, TN and they relocated to Seymour, Texas in
Baylor County in 1884, where he was a physician. The 1900 census for Baylor County indicates
that he and his parents were born in Virginia. Dr. T. F. Burnett was my great
grandfather.

GAINES, HART, HURT, PENDLETON -
My Pendleton family line starts in Norwich around 1249AD the founding Pendleton for
me is Phillip Pendleton who came to America, married, wife died, he returned to England
and came back to Virginia and remarried. His line produced Edmund Pendleton Judge and many
other well known early Americans. When I saw an Isabella PENDLETON GAINES, I
thought we might have some connections to share, Isabella HART (pronounced HURT)
married a Pendleton and I wonder if the Isabella that married Gaines might be
Mother and Daughter. After all this rambling if you have any information on the Virginia
Pendletons from 1649 until present I would appreciate getting it, and should I have any
