CHILDERS, CHILDRESS -
I'm looking for the birthplace and early residence of Archibald CHILDERS/ CHILDRESS. He was born c. 1775 and was in Adair Co. KY in 1820. I found an Archibald who was in the Kentucky Infantry in the War of 1812. The only other Childers/Childress in Adair Co. when he was, was Royal Childress who has been well documented as being the son of Benjamin Childress of Amherst Co., VA, and also Royal lived in Bedford Co. VA, but I haven't been able to tie him in to Archibald. Benjamin Childress left a will and named Royal specifically but only said "other children".

FOWLER, JANUARY, YOUNG -
I have been trying to find the lineage of an ancestor in 1810 KY by the name of John Fowler who was married on March 8, 1809 to Ann Marie January in Jessamine Co., KY. He may have been a nephew of the famous Capt. John Fowler from Lexington, Fayette, KY, but I don't know when he was born or where, whether in VA or KY. I am suspecting that he was born in the 1780s sometime, so I suspect that it was in VA but don't know if his father's name was Benjamin or William Fowler (he named his first child William A. Fowler) there in Jessamine Co., KY and that son later moves to Perry Township, Clinton, Indiana where he dies in 1873). John Fowler is deceased after serving (I think) in the 1812 war and is dead by 1814 I believe. Ann Marie January-Fowler is auctioning off their land and possesions in the newspaper there with two young children and then re-marries in Sept. 1816 to a William Young, and has more children I believe by him. John just appears and then disappears after a short time of being married to her, so if anyone has any information of how to find who he's related to and/or where to find this obscure "John Fowler", I would appreciate your input! I've got him listed in the Jessamine County, KY 1810 census, but that is about all I have on him.

Hello. I am seeking Van Horns born in Virginia . First names may be: Benard, Bernard, A.J., Theodore, Hi and brother John, Van_Horn. These may or may not be related to me. My Van Horns have family names like: Franklin "Frank", Benjamin, Charles James, Warren, born in early 1800s. Their parents may have been from VA. Silas Campbell born VA abt 1817, county unknown, parents unknown. Married (possibly Susanna b. ca 1822 in PA) Found in 1850 census OH, Warren Co. in Shaker Village working as a carpenter. Children: Martha A.M.A. b. 1840 VA, Mary A.A. b. 1842 VA, Mary b.1843 VA, Sarah A. b. 1845 VA, John E. b, 1847 VA, Elizabeth Jane b. May 1849 OH. Unable to find Silas in 1860 anywhere or find a death. Some of children are living together in OH.

BLOSSER, MATHIAS -
Searching for Parents of Isaac Blosser, census records show he was born in Virginia. He was born 9 May 1819 and died 1893. Lived in Ohio and Later Illinois. Headstone in Hays cemetery Christian County, Illinois. He married Mary Mathias (b. 27 Jul 1820 in OH) married on 17 Dec 1842, Hocking County, OH. Also buried in Hays cemetery. Like many Blossers, I believe his parents were born in Penn.

I am a descendant of Wesley Calvin GEORGE and Rebecca POTEET. Recently I received a copy of his death certificate which lists his parents as Jacob Will and Elizabeth GEORGE. I am wondering if anyone has any information on this. Thus far my research has found nothing on them. They don't seem to appear in census records.

Looking for relatives of Henrietta Jackson born 15 Mar 1843 in Sussex County, VA and died 08 Jan 1920 in Abingdon, VA. She was the daughter of Henry Jackson and Rebecca Reeves Mangum. She was married 12 Apr 1865 in Sussex County, VA to James William McBroom. Apparently called "Kitty" by her family.
