GILBERT, WELLS -
I am looking for the family of Daniel Wells listed as Virginia Anne Well's father in her death record. She was born about 1828 and they supposedly were from Dinwiddy. She might have had a sister Elizabeth. She married Henry Gilbert of CT. who was involved in a silk mill there.

HEATH -
My first known relative to come to the US was James Heath, Sr., and his wife, Anne, who came from England in about 1687. He was granted 550 acres in Norfolk County on the ease side of the North River and backed on Back Bay. His Son Robert migrated to Currituck County NC, about 50 miles south.
We thought this Spring we might come to this area. What do you know about this site and where in England do you think he came from? What do you know about the NC Site?
I trust James Sr. developed a Tobacco Plantation, because that is what the Heaths raised later in Kentucky. Do you know anything about this history? Robert B. Heath

GALLEMORE, GALLIMORE, GALLYMORE, MOORE, WARREN -
I am looking for information on a "Jessie Gallymore/ Gallimore/ Gallemore". My grandfather noted in a family bible that the father of his grandfather William Moore (born 1812) was Jessie Gallymore who was from Virginia. We know that William Moore (no known middle name) moved at some point before 1837 to Cannon County, Tennessee (might have originally been in the White County, Tennessee area before settling in Cannon County, where he died in 1899). His oldest son, Jessie G. Moore, was born in Cannon County in 1837. William Moore's wife's name was Elizabeth Warren, and she was apparently born around 1822. We do not know whether she and William met and married in Virginia, or whether they may have been married after he moved to Tennessee. I've found one document on the internet that seems that it might be a link to Jessie Gallymore; it lists several Gallimores, including one named William, as of 1748 in Lunenburg and Charlotte counties. That William's wife's name was Mary, and both William and Mary are names that reoccur in the part of our family tree that we have pieced together. My grandfather told my father that the family name change from Gallymore/Gallimore to Moore occurred when the move to Tennessee was made -- we don't know if Jessie ever moved to Tennessee, or if William moved here on his own. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Thank you,
