Looking for information on John Marshall Womble, born Oct 1861 Isle of Wight. Mother Mary born in 1825 where? Father died when he was very young. John later show up in Decatur, Ga. then in 1900 Plant City, Florida. My gg grandfather.

HILDRETH, PIERCE -
I am searching for the birthplace of my gggrandmother. Family records say she was born 30 miles out of Richmond, but do not give me any further information. I do not know where to go from there. Her name was Experience Hildreth, born in 1818. Her Parents were Nathaniel and Mary Ann (Pierce) Hildreth. Nathaniel is supposed to have lived in Virginia for 25 years so it seems there would be some record of them if I could just find it. I need to find documents proving that Nathaniel is her father in order to establish my line for DAR membership. Any help will be appreciated.

Please help me out. I am searching for information on John Ferguson, born 1790 in Virginia, unknown county, married Mary Gilmore. They moved to TN, then the sons moved to Texas. I was trying to find out any marriage information, where he lived in VA, and his parents. Anything would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

DOUGLAS -
Searching for the parents of Lucy Jane Douglas, born 1825 in Kentucky. Census records have her parents as both being born in VA. I have done some pretty thorough searches, and have used ancestry.com, but can find nothing. Specific family stories and some pretty strong clues lead to me think she may be at least part Native American. Any information would be appreciated.
