I am looking for relatives of an F. W. DUNCAN who was supposedly born in the Shenandoah
Valley 28 Apr 1806. Parents unknown but I'd sure like to find them. F. W. married Martha (Mary)
E. PARKS in Virginia. She was born in Virginia 7 Aug 1820. Their first child was born 30
Jun 1840--Charlie B. Duncan and their other children were Edwin Cook Duncan,
Rebecca, Elzie B., Julia E., Sara E., and Harriet. Edwin Cook Duncan is my relative

BILLIPS, SHORT -
Seeking information on SHORT, Cleo Alvin. Born 18 Oct. 1885 in Gloucester County VA
(according to 1918 Maine marriage certificate) Father is listed as Cleo Alvin SHORT Sr.,
deceased, mother is listed as Alice BILLIPS, also deceased. I have been unable to locate
any information on this family in Virginia. He was a chief machinist mate in the U.S. Navy,
serving in World War I. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

HARTLEY, ROBY, WELLS -
I am looking for the parents of Robert Roby and Uriah Hartley. Robert was born in
Fairfax Co. Virginia in 1812. He married Mary Frances Wells of Henry Co. Kentucky in
1834. They lived in Daviess Co. Kentucky. They both died and are buried in Edwards Co.
Illinois. Uriah was born in Virginia in 1805. He married Delilah Ann Brown of Rockingham
Co. Virginia in 1824. They were married in Spencer Co. and lived in Warrick Co. Indiana. He
died in 1839 and is buried in Warrick Co. Delilah went on to marry Mahlon Fay in 1825 (?)
and may have
married Jacob Harrison in 1860. Her parents were Henry Conrad Brown and Elizabeth
Eppler Brown - both buried in Warrick Co. Indiana. Any information on the above
would be appreciated. Thanks!

Seeking information regarding Charles Walter LOVELACE, (a/k/a Charlie) born 3/12/1861 in
Surry County, NC, died 8/4/1949 in Wise County, VA, married Betty Lou THACKER and
subsequently divorced. The family lived for a time in Henry County, VA. Charlie LOVELACE
relocated to Wise County approximately 1928 and ran a store in Toms Creek, VA.

FALLS 12/30/1875 in Botetourt County. Children were: Edwin
Houston, Minnie Judson, Cora Thrasher, George Thomas Hubert, Mary Sarah & Daisy FALLS.
Possible siblings of Martha Alice Hook are: M. O. (male), Sarah M., Edwin, A. (male), Wm.
S., Thomas.

1820. Children: John W. b abt 1840, Samuel H. b 1842, Nancy E. b 1844, William b 1844, Michael b
1846, Charles C. b 1849, Sarah A. b 1850, Earl b 17 May 1852, Robert T. b 1853, Amanda b 1856,
Rosella Kansas b 3 Oct 1859, Alvina J. b 1864. Have no parent info on William, but believe
brothers to be Michael, Earl and Robert. William listed a "merchant" in 1850 census.
Lived next to Earl and wife Martha, children 4/2 no names given. A Michael SCOTT m Sarah
lived close to Mary Ann Lavinder's family (Chilton Lavinder) age poss to be
parents, but with very young children, second family? grandchildren? HELP!!!!! Thanks!!

1790, probably in VA.
