AILOR, WOOD -
Solomon Wood was born in either Virginia or Tennessee (his census responses over the years
alternate) on 22 August 1823. He married Minerva AILOR 1 June 1850 in Maynardville, Knox
County, Tennessee. They lived in Union County, Tennessee (the part of Knox County where
Maynardville was became Union County) and had nine children. No one has been able to find who
Solomon's parents and any siblings were. Any help would be appreciated. Glad to share info that I
have on descendants.

ADAMS, PULLEN -
Edward S. Pullen (ggrandfather) b. 1839 in Trenton, NJ, died 1891 in South Seaville, NJ.
His death certificate states his parents were Job Pullen and Susan Adams. I have
searched NJ census, city directories, etc. I can find no records on Job or Susan. I found a Job
Pullen in a Virginia census that would have been the age to be Job's grandson. So I am
trying Virginia to see if this family originates there. I have no dates other than Edward's birth
date. I also don't know if he had any siblings. Any information on this family line would be
greatly appreciated.

Franklin County, Va. the d/o Chilton and Mary Elizabeth Ashinhurst Lavinder.
Married 3/9/1859 in Pulaski, County, Va. I need to find any information you have on this couple.
Verify they did marry in Pulaski County, Va. Where did they settle. Is he from Pulaski county,Va.

GARDEN, HIX, SCOTT, VENABLE,
WIMBISH -
Looking for any information on the GARDEN family, especially those decended from Rev.
James GARDEN who was assigned as minister, Church of England, about 1754 in Va. He married
Sara Wimbish and he died in 1773. I believe he was from Scotland but cannot find any proof
of birth, parents, etc. One of his sons, John Garden maried Catherine T. Scott in
1796. One of their sons was Dr. Thomas J. Garden (1795-1856) married Robina Scott
(1801-1877). Thomas and Robina's son Thomas J. Garden (1830-1902?) married Bettie
Venable and produced my gr.father, Charles A. Garden (1873-1966) who married Lucy
Hix (1871-1911). I have a fairly complete line handed down but with little hard proof.

BOTTOM, BOTTOMS, ROBERTSON -
We do not know where they were living, but assume it was in Virginia when ancestors Thomas
BOTTOM and Betsy ROBERTSON were married in Halifax County, Virginia on 23 Apr 1800
or 1801 (date depending on source). I so not know anything about the ancestry of Thomas but have
at least the name of Betsy's father -- Henry ROBERTSON. I would appreciate any clues that
might help identify Betsy, Henry and his family, etc. If you might have any other connections
between a ROBEERTSON and a BOTTOM or BOTTOMS in your research, I would also
appreciate learning about that.

I am looking for information about Henry White, what county in Virginia that he was born
in I don't know but he was born in 1803 or 1804. He married Elizabeth Hocker from Lincoln
County, KY in 1824 and lived then in KY. I would like to know who his parents were and how many
brothers and sisters he may have had, along with any dates that are aplicable. Thank you

BARNARD, BOLT, BOWLES -
My ggggrandfather was Charles Bolt (b. about 1772 in Virginia, to old John Bolt
(and his first wife, name unknown). Don't know when Charles died, but he's buried on a hill above
his Burke's fork old home. He married Mary Barnard (b. 1778 in Fluvanna, VA d. before
1830) on 1 July 1796 in what was then Patrick county. Her parents were Charles Barnard (b.
1748 in Fluvanna, VA, d. before 1796) and Lucy Bowles (b. 1752, Fluvanna, VA, d. after
1795 in what was then Patrick County). I'm in search of the ancestors of Charles Barnard
and Lucy Bowles. I'd sure like to find the name of Charles Bolt's mother (1st wife
of old John Bolt 1750 - 1832) and those preceding him/her.

I am searching for information about Robert James MITCHELL, who I have heard was born in
Ireland about 1700 and migrated to VA. He married Sarah BRADDY/ BRADY (don't knw
when or where. ) They had a son, John Henry MITCHELL, b. abt. 1740-45 in Petersburg. John
Henry's son was John Henry, Jr., b. abt 1760-65 in Dinwiddie Co., who married Mary
Ziegler. Their son, Thomas Hardaway MITCHELL was born 28 Aug 1793 in Dinwiddie Co.
I would like proven facts on Robert James -- where exaactly was he born, who were his parents,
etc. Also would like facts on the two John Henry's. Thanks for any help.

I am searching for information on Nathaniel Dixon's family. He was my third great
grandfather. The only info I have: According to LDS Nathaniel was born in 1754 in Va. One
daughter, Margaret(Peggy) Dixon married Moses Janney in 1802.. His daughter Sarah
married a John Hardy or Handy (difficult to read the marriage bond) abt. 1798.
Nathaniel Dixon's name was on the marriage bonds.

Toler came to Union Co., In. in 1814 and was a farmer, Married Isabelle Bridget and
they had five children. Bridget s came from Franklin Co. but I do not know where the
Tolers came from.

Peters b. abt.1825. His brothers were: John H. b. 1848 and William H. b. 1849

Mildred Hill in 1816 in Green County, Kentucky. I do not have information on David prior

COATES, COATS -
Seeking information on Benjamin Coats/ Coates born about 1779 somewhere in VA. He
moved to TN before 1797 and then to southern Illinois in the 1830s. Believe he may have had son,
David, born about 1797 in TN. Believe he is ancestor of my husband and would appreciate any
information that would confirm or deny the information I currently have.
