ARMSTRONG, STARR -
I am trying to find information on my gggrandfather and gggrandmother. They were both born in
Virginia. His name was Smith Armstrong and he was born in June of 1848. Her name was
Aldora Starr. She was born in August of 1856. I believe they married in 1873. Their first
child was born in Maryland so I don't know where they married. Please contact me if you think you

James HUFFMAN born 1844-1850? somewhere in VA, later changed name to James Wimmer.
Settled in Buchanan County, VA and McDowell County, WV before death. I desperately need to find

JACKSON -
I'm looking for the family of my g/g grandfather Robert V. Jackson b. abt 1825 in VA, but
moved to Harlan Co., KY abt 1840-44 because he married my g/g grandmother in 1844. I would like
to find his parents if possible. His father came from NC and his mother from VA. This is all I
know of his past, would like to know more.

PERRY -
I am looking for any information on John Perry who was in Virginia around 1775-1792(He is
listed as head of house in 1792). There are several John Perry's, but the one I am looking
for was a schoolteacher. He was supposed to have written an Arithmetic Book that was used in the
early VA and NC schools. I would appreciate any information on him.

SHACKELFORD -
I am searching for information on my ancestor David D. Shackelford. He was born in
Virginia around 1790. He came to East TN around 1800. Trying to locate his parents' names and
where he was from in Virginia. There was a Dav. Shackleford who served as a Private in the
Virginia Militia from Sept. 1, 1794 to Oct. 30, 1794 in Suttons Company, Campbells Regiment,
Williams Brigade. How can I find out where this military unit was formed and any other
information about their operations? Thanks.

is supposed to be the daughter of Henry Belville Fry 22 Dec 1794 d. 14 Feb 1836. and his
second wife Lucy Clarke, birth, dod and birthplace unknown... VA. Henry Belville
Fry is the son on Reverend Henry Fry b.1738 and dod 1823. son of Colonel Joshua

Nathaniel Kendrick (Kindrick) married Mary Peake (d 1809) in either
Frederick or Louisa County VA around 1720-1725. They are my ggggggrandparents. They had a son
John from whom I am descended. I know little more about these ancestors. I would greatly
appreciate any additional information.

or where they married. Three children James Gowers, Martha, Lucinda. Daniel is my grgrgrandfather

the children were born in Bourbon co. Ks.

PHARISS -
Samuel Phariss stated that he was born in Virginia 1742 but he never said where. If anyone
has any details about his first 30 years of life, we Phariss cousins would be very
grateful. He first shows up in Fauquier Co., VA in the mid 1770's. Next he is in Shenandoah Co.
in the 1780's, maybe going back and forth between Shenandoah and Fauquier. He seems to have been
educated, signing off on wills, being an elder in Baptist churches and a surveyor of roads. He
then goes to east TN where he spends the rest of his life.

Robinson, Edmund-Born about 1777 in Virginia per 1850 census of Marengo County, Alabama.
Had two sons known of John Alexander and James Wesley Warren. Sur-name could have alternate
spellings. He turns up in Alabama in 1816 and in 1830 is in Wilcox County in Alabama. He has a
household with five boys nd several girls. If anyone has a clue would appreciate.

I am searching for Henry Stevens/ Stephens b. ca. 1745-50 Frederick Co., VA. Served
in Revolutionary War in VA.(need record) married Margaret Foster Barnes 1784 VA., they
moved to Washington Co., TN. and had 8 children. Henry died 1801 in Washington Co., TN. and is
buried in the Stevens Family Cemetery in Johnson City, TN. Their children were: Elizabeth,
William, Thomas, Nancy, John, David, Henry Jr., and Isaac. Any information on this family or
Henry Sr. would be greatly appreciated.

I am searching for parent and siblings of Mary ESTEP/ EASTEP, who was born in
Virginia ca 1817. She married, at an unknown date in an unknown state, Ephraim Edward
NORTON, born ca. 1818, in Tennessee. I believe they were in Alabama on the 1840 Jackson
County census. By 1850 they were in Madison County, Arkansas, on the 1860 Carroll County,
Arkansas census and finally settled in Christian and Stone Counties, Missouri. Any help or clue
