KNIPE, PAINTER, TADE -
I am looking for any information on the Surname "Tade" Time frame around 1800. I have
located Martin Tade who married Mary Knipe from England in Wythe Co., VA by
Minister George Painter (presby)-9/16/1827. They were from Wythe Co. VA and settled in
Knox, Co., IN. They had 6 childred John Elizabeth, Mary, Thomas and Jane. Any information would
be appreciated.

KINTZ -
I am looking for a John Kintz. I believe he migrated from Virginia (don't know the county
or any particulars) to Ohio. He died near Canton Ohio. John was born on February 7, 1789. All I
have is a an indication he was born in Virginia.

STALLCOP -
I am looking for information regarding a William Stallcop, who traveled from his home
state of Virginia to Kentucky, and then to Clay County Indiana. He arrived in Indiana in 1828. I
don't know where he lived in Va., or anything about him. If anyone has any information at all,
I'd love to hear about it.

Looking for any info on Jennings Oliver, listed on 1850 Todd County, KY census as age 36
born VA married to Rachael Jones age 33 born VA. I know they were married in Wilson
County, TN on 10-11-1837. I do not know names of parents of either one.

Co., VA. He married Sarah Morrison on 12 Oct. 1810 at Fauquier Co., VA. I am looking for
any further information on Samuel Conner and Sarah Morrison. I am especially

Married Sarah Surber 04-17-1806 in Washington Co. VA. Settled in Pulaski Co. KY by 1809.

I am searching for information on Matthew Taylor, who received a land grant in Surry Co NC
in May, 1789. We think he might have migrated from VA to NC, and I would appreciate any
information anyone might have about him. His son, Matthew Taylor, Jr. is my gr gr grandfather.

wife Nancy "Ann" Shepherd Badger is shown as being born in Williamsburg Virginia.
Five of his children were; Harriet Badger Furt (can not locate her), Mary Ann
Badger Dejarnett (can not locate her), William "Henry", Edwin H., and Joseph

KELSO, PERRIN,
PERRINE, PITTS, RICHARDSON -
I'm looking for a Samuel Pitts who was born in Virginia in either 1804 or 1805. He died
8-14-1879 in Ohio. He is buried in the Salt Creek Baptist Cemetery outside of Zanesville, Ohio.
Not sure where his parents were born. He was married to a woman named Caroline (last name
unknown). She was also born in Virginia in March of 1806. Her parents were both born in Virginia
also. She died 7-21-1888 in Ohio. She also is buried in the Salt Creek Baptist Cemetery. I found
Samuel and Caroline in the 1880 Ohio census listed in the Salt Creek Township of Muskingum
County. These are the children that I know of:
Annie "Pitts" Kelso husband-- John
born--4-16-1835 Ohio died--6-8-1913
Ella "Pitts" Perrin (or Perrine) I found
her listed as Ella B. and also Barbara E. so she went by both Ella and Barbara husband-- Joseph
born--1850 Ohio died-- Feb. 1931 Ohio
Margaret "Pitts" Richardson also spelled
Margaretta husband-- George W. born--1845 Ohio died--7-6-1930 Ohio
George W. Pitts
born--1835 Ohio died between 1918 and 1930
Samuel H. Pitts this is my gggrandfather
born-- Dec. 1840 Ohio died--4-29-1918 Ohio married Margaret J. Kelso on 5-15-1866 Ohio
I have no idea which county in Virginia that Samuel or Caroline were born. Any information

I am looking fora David Barber who is found on the Taxable Tithable List for Pittsylvania
County, Virginia. born abt 1740. listed Taxable Tithable List 1767,1782,
1783,1784,1785,1786,1788,1789. 1790, 1800 thru 1810 Census records Pittsylvania County, Virginia.
Wife maybe Elizabeth ???? not known last name. David Barber b. 1740 md to Elizabeth
who is the believed to be the parents of these children. ( all born in Pittsylvania County,
Virginia.) Joseph Barber 1765; Jean md. Nancy Goad; Hezekiah 1766; Randolph 1768, md. Mary
Foster; Willam 1772, md. Nancy Turley; Allen 1774, md. Isabel McDaniels;
Stephen 1780, md. Patsey Reynolds; Shadrack 1773, md. Sally Winfree.
I have
children of all of the above. Any information for this would appreciated.

BROWN, CAMPBELL, TURNER -
I am searching for information on my gg grandfather, Leonard Turner. Census records
indicate he was born 1776, but I do not know where in Va. He married Sally Campbell in
Culpepper Co in 1801. In 1829 he married Matilda Brown in Buckingham, Co. Va. He died in
Summers Co. Va. in l857. If anyone has any information on this family, I would appreciate hearing
from them. Thank you.
