SHEFF, THOMPSON -
I am in search of ANY information that can be located on the Family of Joseph SHEFF, b.
1835 in VA and his wife Elizabeth THOMPSON (SHEFF) b. 1845, ILL. The only record I
have been able to find is 1880 Federal Census where they are listed with their children, domestic
and two unidentified children with the same last name as Sheff. If anyone is researching
the family of SHEFF from VA, I would appreciate hearing from you.

DAVIS -
Interested in contacting anyone researching the DAVIS surname from VA. I have information
that indicates my gg grandfather, John Davis, was from Henry Co., VA. This was sent to me
recently and I have not confirmed that. John was born about 1784 (VA?) and died in Madison Co.,
MS around 1833. This has not been verified either. I do not know who his spouse was. Some of his
issue were; George Washington, Patrick, Mary, John Davis, Jr., and others. The last child was
born in VA around 1815. This means the family moved to MS after 1815 and before 1833 and resided
in Madison and Rankin Counties. Thanks for any response.

DOSIER, DOZIER -
Looking for Peter Dozier (Dosier, the name has been spelled many different ways) On
the 1850 census of Surry North Carolina it lists Peter as been born in Virginia about 1808 as was
his wife Mary Ann. Can not find the parents of Peter, or Mary Ann's surname before marriage.
Peter and Mary Ann settled in Fayette County, Alabama. They had 10 children. Some of the older
children may have stayed in N.C. when their parents started south. The names of the children were
1.Sophia Ann 2. Catherine (Patherine) 3. Mary 4. Henry 5.William 6. Nathan 7. Pleasant 8.Martha
9.Peter 10. Calvin. if any one knows anything about this Family, would like to hear from you.

DUNN, PETERS -
I know my ggggrandfather and ggggrandmother came from Virginia, their names are Henry
Peters and Margeret Dunn Peters not sure what county. He fought in the war
of 1812,and Blackhawk War. I do know they moved to IN. where they had 8 children of which one was
John Peters my gggrandfather, I figure Henry was born around 1800, he died in 1875 in IL.,
and his parents came from KY. Thank you for your time

I am looking for any information on Thomas Lacy/ Lacey around 1810. Thomas and his
sons Thomas and William are in the 1820 Fauquier Co census next to Manual and Malen Lacy.
Later in the 1820's they moved to Muskingum Co Ohio- a have much information on their
decendants... I am looking for information on where they were prior to moving to Fauquier County-
they are not on the Fauquier County 1810 census. Thomas Sr. married either Frances or
Esther...Thomas Jr. m. Sarah Garrett in 1824 and William Lacy m. Nancy Davis
in Westmorland Co, Virginia.

I am trying to get info on a James T Tucker, born in VA circa 1801. I know he lived in
Putnam County, GA from 1831 to 1840. He married a Temperance Andrews in 1827, then married
Jane McMillan in 1830's. If anyone can connect with this person, please let me know.
