BEAUFORD, DUDLEY, RAGLAND -
Am the 5th great grandson of John Ragland (of Hsnrico Parish) and Anne Beauford who
settled in Hanover County around 1720 after comming from Wales. Their son John and wife Anne
Dudley was a vestryman in 1752 in Autrim Parish in Halifax Co. Will be travling thru the
area in the late summer of 97 and would like to know what cemeteries the Ragland's graves
might be in. Also any other information on the Ragland family would be appreciated.

PATTEN, WILLSON -
I am looking for details on my ancestor JAMES PATTEN. He is reported to have been born
circa 1773, somewhere in Virginia as per LDS records. He was possibly Scottish in decent and was
Baptist in religion, at least he was a member of the Baptist Church here in Ontario. He moved to
New Jersey and married Deborah Willson circa 1798. He then moved to the Ancaster area of
Ontario circa 1802. He died in St.George, Ontario Feb.2 1846. He had 10 children that I know of,
8 of whom lived and I have some information about. Thanks for any help that can be had.

Seeking information on John MARTIN born about 1767 probably in Virginia. John at least one
child, Elizabeth born in 1793 in Virginia. John migrated to Kentucky where his daughter,
Elizabeth married Edmund HARPER in Warren county KY on 29 September 1813. She died 18
March 1863 in Sumner county TN. Any information would be very helpful.
