BUMGARDNER, HARTSOOK -
Elizabeth Hartsook married Henry Bumgardner. the 1880 US census of Gallia County,
OH has her living there. states she was born in Virginia. I would love to find out more about
her. what Virginia counties should I start with since West Virginia was Virginia at that time.
I have sent queries to a lot of societies and always draw a blank. Couldn't resist asking.

LATELL -
I have a letter that was written in 1929 from a Pearl Coleman to a Cloud Chavis.
It is written from Partlow, VA in September of 1929. Stafford Virginia is mentioned as well as a
Mr. John Howard ...someone named Latell and also mentions Mayfield School
and also Snells which may also be a school...It was found at Fort Foote Park,
MD..... along the water... Anyone that knows any information may contact me.....

of Danial Akins who was born in Va about 1785----1790. This Daniel was married to Unity
Yancy in Randolph Co GA renamed Jasper Co GA. this marriage took place in 1809. Any info

HENDERSON, KENDALL -
Trying to locate info on Charles HENDERSON he was born in Virginia according to his death
certificate abt 1784. He lived his life in Clermont/Brown Cos. in Ohio. He died 12-31-1874 in
Tate Township, Clermont County,OH. Also trying to make the connection between Charles and John
Henderson. Believe Charles to be John's father, but unable to prove so far. John also
born in Va. (1803-1883) and also died in Ohio, he was married to Judia Kendall. They had
(not all Known) the following children
John, Mary Ann, Willilam, Charles, Martin, Susan, and Robert. If anyone can help me solve the
whereabouts of their births and the connection of father and son please write. Have lots of info
on John's decendants I can share. And lots of Pics.

CARNEAL, CURNELL, KERNELL -
John KERNELL (CURNELL) b. abt 1793. VA, my GGGFA. migrated to TN, probably prior to
1829. I believe he had a brother William D. KERNELL b. abt 1792. VA. This information is
from US Census, TN, 1850. John is the father of my GGFA, Thomas L KERNELL who
subsequently appears in Posey Co., IN US Census 1870 & 1880. 1870 as KERNELL, 1880 as
CURNELL. I have pushed this line back to VA, but can not find John or William in VA.
Family oral tradition has this line as Irish, but if it is it is probably Anglo or
Scottish-Irish. I find some CARNEALs in VA, but just can not seem to find a link to John
KERNELL. There is a Northern tree of KERNELLs, but I do not think my line ties to
them. But, cannot find a source for VA, KERNELL. Anyone with any knowledge of
KERNELL (CURNELL) please e-mail me. Would also welcome correspondence with
experienced VA searchers, researchers who could aim me in the right direction. Thank you.

GREGORY: Looking for information on John GREGORY, born in 1808 in Virginia. He
appeared on the census in 1850 in Lewis County, Missouri. He appeared on the census in 1870 in
Lewis County, Missouri. He died after 1880 in Missouri. He was married to Frances RUSH
(daughter of ?? RUSH) on 22 Feb 1838 in Marion County, Missouri. Frances RUSH was
born in 1823 in Kentucky. John GREGORY and Frances RUSH had the following children:
Marshall born in 1839 in Missouri, Sarah born in 1841 in Missouri, Margaret Virginia born in 1844
in Missouri, Alexander A., George S., America L., Robert born in 1853 in Lewis County, Missouri
(Robert appeared on the census in 1870 in Lewis County, Missouri), William born in 1857 in Lewis
County, Missouri (He appeared on the census in 1870 in Lewis County, Missouri), Joel, and
Florence GREGORY. I am particularly interested in finding information regarding John and
his lineage.

I am in search of an ancestor named Daniel ROBERTSON. ROBERTSON lived in Mercer
county Kentucky in 1800. Family tradition has it that ROBERTSON came from Virginia,
Lincoln county. He was married to Mary Skiles and they had 13 children. Exact dates of his
birth,marriage and death are unknown. He is belived to be buried in Mercer county. Can you help

FITZPATRICK, PAYNE -
Looking for info on James Fitzpatrick dob 06/20/1760 in Va. He enlisted in Rev War in
Hampshire Co on the south branch of Potomac River. I think his father was James also. He moved to
KY where he lived until he died on 08/23/1841. His dob may not be right, could be from 1754 to
1760. Also looking for info on Berry Payne born in Va in 1781. He also had a son William
Payne born in 1812 in Va. Berry moved to Ky. sometimes between 1812 and 1814 for he had a
child born in Nicholas Co., Ky. in 1814. I don't know his parent's names or his wife's name. Any
info on either man would be wonderful !!. I'm stuck on two lines of ancestors. Will gladly pay

I am searching for two people in VA. First is Margaret Vickery. All I know is that she
was born in VA around 1789. At some point she moved to Kentucky and then TN. However she was
the second spouse of Joshua Sutton, born 1785 in Virgina. He was the Widower of Mary
Polly Ratikin who was born in PA. I feel like Margaret Vickery and Joshua married
in VA. Second is Sarah? This is all I know about her. Born 1764 in Virgina. Married in 1784 to
Jonas Sutton of New Jersey. She died in 1852 after they moved to Rockcastle Kentucky. I
would desparately love to find out her Maiden Name from a Marriage record or something.
