HARLOW -
The funeral record for my g-grandfather, John Marion HARLOW states his father was born in
"Stanbro, Va". Although a biographical sketch states he was born in Augusta Co., we can find no
record of his birth in 1833. Can anyone identify the location of Stanbro or could this be a
misspelling of Staunton? Thanks.

JACKSON -
Zerinah West Jackson was born in 1809, county unknown. Her father was Reuben Fletcher
Jackson. I am looking for information on Reuben Jackson and want to find the name
of Zerinah's mother. At some point, the family did migrate from VA to TN. ANY help appreciated!

JOHNSTON -
My ancestors, William and Martha Johnston, left present Tennessee 1781, fleeing indian
attacks, moving to northern Kentucky. I have been informed many Tennesseans moved to KY counties
of MAson and Montgomery. It is said they were formed from Fincastle VA. I have a sworn affidavit
made in 1820 stating they returned to Robertson Co., TN in 1784 where they remained the rest of
their lives. Can you help me in locating a county that might have records 1781-84? Thank you so
much as I am at a DEAD END!!

ADAMS, MALLETT, SPAIN -
Looking for info on Wiliam A. Adams born abt 1817 in Mecklenburg County Va. Married Mary
Mallett in 1839. They had 10 children, the oldest Robert (my gg granfather) was born in
1840. He married Julia Spain in 1863. Robert was killed in the Civil War. His son Daniel
moved to Warren County NC with his mother Julia after the War. William was on the 1840,1850 &
1860 census in Mecklenburg County. In 1870 he was in Warren County. He moved to Amelia Va before
1880. William's other children were, Martha, Thomas, William, Mary, Samuel, Alexander, Bejaman,
Sally, Callie. I can not find anything on William after 1880. Need help, would like to find his
parents and what happen to William. Thanks

McCOY -
Am looking for information on the family of these McCoy siblings, Charles Thomas, Clarence
Cleveland (Bud), Arthur (Ott), William (Bill), John Franklin and Pearl. There are probably
others, but the information on this branch of my family tree is sketchy. I do know that these all
went to California, I do not know when. I also know that they were born in the late 1800's. Thank
you for anything that you can supply.

1819 her famly was in Edwards County, Illinois where she married William MELROSE. Any

Looking for anything on a Lucinda "Lucy" AMOS born abt 1784 in Albemarle Count, Va. She
married a Malachi Branham/ Palmer in Patrick County, Va. on May 19,1801. .... Her
mother, a Mary Amos sold the new couple land in Patrick County, VA. in 1801. ... They
later moved to Hawkins County, Tn. where she had the following children: Samuel Carter b. 1802;
John b. 1804; Sarah b.1812; and Mary E."Polly' b. Aug 14,1814 .. Looking for any information on
her.

MILLER, MUELLER -
I am trying to find any information on the Theophilus Miller Family. He had a brother
named Nimrod, one named William and possibly some named James, John or Jacob. The family moved to
Tennessee sometime around early 1800s, probably coming through North Carolina. They settled in
the Campbell County area known as Fincastle. Oral family tradition says three original
Miller or Mueller brothers came to Amercia in the 1700s from Heidelberg, Germany
through Jamestown, VA. Their names were John (or Johannes) Issac and Jacob. I can connect back to
Theophilus but not any earlier. Would appreciate any help.

DILLON, DYE, PERDUE, SMITH -
I'm searching for info concerning my great grandparents James M. COLLINS born Oct. 8,1858
died April 11,1931 at Stephens Clinic Welch W. Va. from injuries in Bosevain coal mine. He was
married to Virginia SMITH. I have no other info on either of them.... James and Virginia
were both buried in Bosevain which is outside of Pocahontas. My other great grandparents were:
Tyler Frazier DILLON born July 26,1877 died July 10,1961 and his wife Altie D.
DILLON (DYE) born Nov 1,1879 died June 13,1959 both buried on Laurel Hilltop
outside of Bosevain. Altie's parents were C.C. DYE born Feb 24,1848 died May 31,1930 and
Mary DYE born approx 1859 and died approx 1942 ... Mary's mother is Sallie PERDUE
born March 20,1817 died Sept 4,1923 aged 106 years 5 mo 14 days... Tyler had a brother named
William B. DILLON born May 5,1865 died Nov 8,1954 married to Susan B. DILLON
(BAILEY) born Feb 19,1875 died Oct 11,1958... Tyler and William's father was a Confederate
soldier but I do not have his name other than DILLON or any other info on him or his wife.
Any help or further info would be greatly appreciated thank you

BELK, HOLT, POWELL -
Looking for information on Col. Dibdal Holt. His son David, married Rebecca Belk,
moved to MS and his son Benjamin moved to Natchitoches Parish, La. Dibdal also had a son William
and I think he may have been my gggrandfather who died in Hinds County, MS in 1836. William had
13 children and married to Rhoda Powell. I believe Dibdal was in Virginia,but I don't know

Looking for information on Albert Monroe Robertson, b:abt 1816 in VA. Later moved to
Lafayette Co., MO where he was married to Sarah (last name unknown) and had the following
children: Lovella b:abt 1872, Franklin Lupton b:12/12/1874, George Ann b:abt 1878. I'd like to
find out where in VA he was from, who his parents were, who were his siblings. Anyone having any
