MABRY, SIMPSON -
I am searching for Mabrys and Simpsons who migrated to TN about 1792, possibly
through NC and into Clinch Valley. Specifically I am searching for any records of Virginians of
either family receiving title to land in that area of Virginia and Tennessee. Is there a web site
I could search?

HENDERSON, WEBBER -
I live in Madison County, KY. amd I'm looking for Information on Jonis/Jones Webber and
his wife Sarah "Sally" Henderson. He was born ca. 1782 in Virginia and she was born ca.
1784 in Virginia. Sarah's father was Robert Henderson. They moved to the Madison and
Ezstill Counties area. I'm a descendant of their son Sanford Webber. Any information on
their paretns, siblings, grandparents, etc. would be so helpful. Thank you in advance for your

CLOUSE -
I am looking for any info on George Clouse. Some records indicate he was in Washington
County Va in 1780. LDS indicates he was born in Buchanan County in 1740. I am confused because
Buchanan County did not exist in 1740. Any help would be appreciated.

PARISH -
I am looking for Jones Parish and his ancestors. It is possible he married an Elizabeth or
Eliza. Their son was Edward Parish, Sr. born 1726/27 in St. Peter's Parish, Hanover
County, Virginia. He married Jane and they had a son Edward Parish, Jr. in 1750 in North
Carolina and died in 1822 in Kershaw County, South Carolina. Any assistance you could provide
would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I am seeking information on Charles Mason, born abt 1838 in VA County unknown. He is
listed in the 1860 census in Hancock, County, TN living with Sterling Rhea, He later
married Mahala Athey Mills born Halifax County, NC abt 1845 their sons were John Henry (my
Grandfather), Gardner, Charles, William, Alexander, they migrated to OK 1880-1900. Thanking you

COLEMAN, WEBB -
Pleasant (Plesent) WEBB was born about ca 1760-1765. His sons, Elias Webb and
Thomas Hanley Webb, said that their father, Pleasant was born in Ireland (not
substantiated). One researcher believes that Pleasant Webb first landed in Rockingham Co.,
NC as a young child (b. around 1758-1765?) with his family. I am seeking any additional
information that you can provide about the his landing and the parents/siblings of Pleasant
Webb. Pleasant shows up in the records (few available) when he is in his 20's in
Rutherford County, NC. Most of the Webbs came into the country via Virginia. Maybe
Pleasant spent his younger years there and then moved down into NC. He seems to have hung aroung
with a William Webb Sr., William Webb Jr., and a Richard Coleman. He died
between 1830 and 1840 in Ohio, USA. Around 1800 Pleasant and family came in to the Ohio valley
from Rutherford County, North Carolina. In 1803 (reported to be 45 years old) he was at the Licks
in Scioto County, Ohio. Pleasant was in Greenup County, Kentucky in 1820 and in Lawrence County,
Ohio in 1830. He did not appear in the 1840 census, so it is believed he died between 1830-1840.
Pleasant (Plesent) WEBB and Unknown had the following children: James WEBB
(1786), Elias WEBB (1788), Thomas Hanley WEBB (1795), Aden WEBB (1797),
Temperance WEBB (1799), William WEBB (1801), Margaret WEBB (1806), Sarah
(Sally) WEBB (1809), and Baker WEBB (1811).

FERRIS, MASON -
I am looking for the families of Robertson (spelled Various ways) Mason Born 1804 in
Virginia who married a Margarett-Margaretta Peggy Ferris Born 1800-1802 in Virginia. I
have hit a brick wall on these 2 . They both could not read or write according to the census i
have found them in. They have lived i Kentucky and Tennessee. They also have several children.
Eliza, Elizabeth, Betsy, Lewis ,James Rueben, Sarah, Sallie and so on. Any info would be welcome.

born 1786, died 1861, but don't know where. His wife was Mary Pavy Courtney, born

Looking for more information on McIntosh families in Virginia/possibly West Virginia.
William J. McIntosh, born 06May1745 in Inverness, Scotland The above married Delilah
Shaw born 08Aug1747 in Augusta Co., VA. Delilah died in 1836 in Bath Co., Kentucky.
William J. McIntosh died 1836 in Montgomery Co., Kentucky.

Hi ! My William Johnson and sons are in the 1850 Tn. Census.. William 43 years. Virginia:,
James 14 years Kentucky:, William 12 years.:, Alexander 10 years :, Martha 9 yrs., Robert 6 yrs.,
Joseph 4 years, VA, KY-HY 292-46.
One source says he came from Virginia with his sons. I am
not sure where they were born. Would appreciate any help !!!
