RICE -
Daniel RICE and wife Julie/Julia joined Big Pigeon Creek Baptist Church 1789
(TN). In 1790 Daniel received NC land grant in what later is Greene Co, TN. Son Joseph
Rice b TN 1800, and they may have had a son named William(?) Did Daniel come from
somewhere in VA, or NC? Daniel and Spencer Rice had land grants south of the Nolachuckee
River, Greene Co, TN. Spencer was from VA. A younger Spencer Rice (descendant?), shows up
in Hamilton Co, TX; and James M. Rice, a proven grandson of Daniel's, is there too. Any
connection? Glad to share other information from old letters and records.

Hello, I'm looking for any information on George W. Thompson, born in Virginia around
1839. (wife Sarah?) He later moved to Texas; I have him in the 1870 census of Marion County
Texas; son named Isaac J. Thompson. Any information on these Thompsons would be

AREHART, CRIST -
I am lost, Osborne C. Crist was born 1856 in Timberville Virginia. Died 1926 Frederick
Maryland. Know his wife and children. He had one sister Mrs. Lydia Arehart. He may have a
brother Clarence. Anyway, I can't find any information about his parents. I live in Oregon so all
I can do is over the internet. Thanks Cheryl

PARKS, RADLIFF, SHRADER -
Looking for any information on Albert M. Parks - Grayson County, VA. He was born Oct. 23,
1900 died Jan.25, 1974 in Radford, VA. He married Martha Jane Radliff who died at age 41.
He remarried Nancy Shrader (sp). He raised 4 children and 1 adopted child. This is my
grandfather and I am seeking as much information that I can locate on him. I know some(as you can
see) but I would like to know who his parents were and so forth. Thank you for any help that you
can give.

GRAY -
I'm searching for any information on my Great Great Grandparents. My Great Great Grandpa Eugenius
J. Gray was born in Virginia in 1818. My Great Great Grandma Mahala M. Gray was
also born in Virginia in 1818. I'm not sure what Mahala's maiden name is. They had a daughter
Phebe Jane Gray born around 1861. Thank you.

CHADWICK -
I'm trying to find info on a fellow I was in Nam with. He was originally from Wisconsin but I
understand he died in Virginia somewhere. Hope some one can help finding out what happened to
him. He is Thomas L. Chadwick, born 19 June 1948, died 1 Jun 1974, SS# 391-46-2083. Would

ELLIOTT, HERRING, MILLIGAN -
I am researching Henry C. Elliott. Born 11/18/1823 in Kentucky. Married Sarah
Herring in 1849, Kentucky. Henry died 9/15/1856 Boone County, MO. Buried at Walnut
Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, MO. Sarah apparently took the children (Katherine (Belle?),
William A (My gr. grandfather) James R. and Henry C....back to Kentucky as census records show
her in 1860 in Garrard County and there are other Herrings listed. I am unable to find his
parents..and I cannot find the death date and place of Sarah. Sarah born 1824 in Garrard Co. KY.
I show the children living with Sallie Milligan, Strasbury, Cass, MO in 1880..which makes
me think Sarah passed away before that date. Although, the "children" are older at that time.

At a temporary (lol) brick wall. Looking for the birthplace of William Beezley. born
approx 1721. Had 2 sons John (1750) & Issac (1753 Loudoun County). Not able to locate a wife for
William. Perhaps he was born in England...

BOYD, JONES -
I am looking for an Ebenezer Boyd born 1814 unknown county in VA. He married a woman named
Matilda, born 1820 unknown county in VA and they had one daughter Emily J. born unknown county in
VA before they moved to Ohio.
I am also looking for a William Jones born 1777 unknown
co. in VA. who moved first to Buillitt co. Kentucky and then to Scott co. Indiana and then to
Jackson co. Indiana.

ADKINS, HARLEY -
I am trying to locate a David Adkins b. 1754 in Va. son of Mary Adkins and Jacob
Harley. I understand they were not married. He is believed to have been an English Tax
Collector. (not verified). It is believed David was the father of Roland Adkins b. 1810 in
Ky. As of now I have found no definitive link. Any help would be appreciated.

MAGRUDER, MATTHEWS -
I am looking for Thomas and Maria (Magruder) Matthews. They are my Great Great
Grandparents. Thomas was born in Virginia, but I do not know when or where. Maria was born in
Maryland abt. 1803. They were married in Allegheny Co. Maryland 13 August 1823. Both died in
Washington County, Ohio. I am trying to find information on Thomas before he came to Ohio. I
would like to find out who his parents were. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
