FOSTER -
I believe that my ancestors George (b. 22 May 1767-8, d. 21 Jan 1871) Foster and wife
Sariah (b. 16 Oct. 1773, d. 22 July 1855) are buried in Keysville, VA, and I am trying to find
information about their parents. The understanding among my family is that George Foster's
parents came from England. Can you suggest any resources to help in my search? Thank you so

I am looking for information about Dixon Chitty, (spelling may be Dickson), born in Va.
1770 - 1780. He had at least one son, Barton. One of Barton's sons came to Ohio. Two of
Barton's sons fought for Confederacy, John Henry & Hugh, and never heard from again.

Co., TN ca 1794. He married Christina Bird, Greene Co., TN, ca 1796. They moved to
Harrison Co., IN in 1805. Not sure of which county Bryant comes from. Christina's Father was

COURTNEY, DECOURTNEY -
COURTNEY, DECOURTNEY - 1820s: Henry C. DECOURTNEY (prob b1820s VA) moved to
OK Indian Territory and married Mary Ann COURTNEY (b1832 ARK) where they raised lots of
kids. Going thru a relative's papers, I found a copy of the 1860 Indian Territory census, with
Leonard S. COURTNEY's name highlighted. Leonard was born in 1825 in VA and was a
millright in the Creek Nation. Does anyone have any information on Henry or Leonard??

"Cavaliers and Pioneers". This land was in King and Queen County. Who is Richard
LONGWELL and where did he come from? Is he related to the (John) LONGWELLs of
