MOSS -
Hello! So far, in California libraries, I cannot find proof that Triplett MOSS served in
the Am Revolution. He had been born 1752 in Prince Wm Co. but the only word that he actually
served comes from Joseph BOBO's Va Rev pension application (maybe # S.6678) Therein Joseph states
that "The draft was made the last of Sept 1780 at Dumfries. ... Six men constituted a mess and
he, Benjamin Reeves, ---, ---, ----, ---, were the mess. He also remembers ----. etc. , and
Triplett MOSS from his part of the country." I would love to find Triplett eligible for
inclusion in DAR's patriots.

COOK, CRADDOCK -
I am looking for information on the parents and siblings of Thomas Elmore Craddock, born
1781 somewhere in Virginia. By 1808 he was in Warren Co., KY marrying Hannah Cook. About
1816, they moved to Madison Co, Missouri. I have been told that when Thomas Elmore
Craddock moved from Virginia to Kentucky, he came with his brothers and their wives. The
names of William and Edward or Edmond have been suggested as the names of his brothers. Those
names have also been mentioned as the possible name of Thomas' father. Some Craddock
relatives also are reported to have moved from Kentucky to Missouri. After Hannah Cook
Craddock died, Thomas Elmore Craddock, and several of his grown children and
grandchildren, and possibly some other Craddock relatives, traveled to California about
1859. Thomas died in Yuba Co., California in 1869.
