HAGUE, HARRIS, RICHARDSON, THOMPSON -
Seeking info on the Loudoun County, Virginia family of Quakers Israel Thompson and wife
Ann (Harris) Richardson. Israel left a will dated 10 January 1795 in which he
named their two sons Jonah and Samuel Thompson. Ann Harris had previously married
in 1743 to William Richardson and had children Joseph (born 1744) and Ann (born 1747).
William Richardson died in 1750 in Frederick County, Maryland and his widow remarried in
1754 to Israel Thompson. Ann Thompson died between 1771 and 1778 when Israel
Thompson remarried to Sarah Hague.

Seeking info on the Daniel ROBBINS family who removed from Virgina (county unknown) to
Stokes County, NC. James COFER married Elizabeth "Betsy" Robbins in 1806
with Daniel Robbins as bondsman. James Cofer was bondsman for these marriages:
John BOSWELL to Ellender Robbins (1814) and Benjamin Robbins to Nancy
JONES (1815). Benjamin Robbins was bondsman for marriage of William Robbins
to Sarah Jones (1817).

1781 and moving to Montgomery County Obio in 1802 but I am not sure if this is correct.

John M. Houston, born 1803, Rockbridge County Va. married Mary (Polly) Hall in
Rockbridge 1827. Thomas Houston (son of John M. Houston) born 1834 I believe John
M. Houston was my grgrgr grandfather. Appreciate information re ancestors/descendent of

Researching Riley and Moulden families of unknown Co.,VA. Spencer Riley b:
abt 1812 married Elizabeth Unknown in 1832. They had a son Samuel Elgin Riley b: 1843, he
married Susan Virginia Thursday Victoria Ridgeway in 1869. They had a daughter Eugenia
Riley b: abt 1872 in VA, she married Richard Moulden b: abt 1868 in VA, they had 5
children: Ernest R. b: abt 1899 in VA, Mabel C. b: abt 1901 in VA, Vernon C. b: abt 1903 in VA,
Lester b: abt 1906 in PA, and Hazel E. Moulden b: 1908 in PA. Eugenia and Richard moved to
Fayette county PA sometime before 1906. Son Lester married Ferne Provance and they 2 sons
Richard Dawson Moulden and Garry Blair Moulden. Lester divorced and remarried a
Ethel Packer and had a son Mark Moulden. Any info on the family from VA would be
deeply appreciated.

WRIGHT Looking for the family of Joseph WRIGHT, m. 9 Apr1761, Loudon Co., VA, Mary
FARQHER/FARQUHAR, and also the family of Joel WRIGHT, m. 1 July 1772, Loudon
Co., Elizabeth FARQHER/FARQUHAR. Does anyone have access to these marriage records? Can
anyone help provide who performed the rites, where the marriages took places, witnesses and
bondsmen? My Joseph WRIGHT d. 1789 or 1790, Laurens Co., SC; his wife, Mary, survived him
and raised their children alone. She was living as a widow in 1805 on the land that Joseph
patented sometime before 1788, when his first neighbor, Joseph SOUTH, was granted land adjoining
WRIGHT's on Pinson's Creek (later called Walnut Creek) on the Reedy River of Dist. 96.
Joseph and Mary had children: (1) Jane (2) Mary (3) David (4) James D. (5) Joseph (6,7,8) Unknown
daughters. Does anyone have information on who the parents of Joseph and/or Joel Wright
who married the FARQUHAR/FARQHAR ladies, or the families of these ladies? I sure hope
someone can help! Thanks!

DIVERS, HOOD, OWENS, THOMAS -
My husband's Great-GreatGrandfather was William Hood who married Lucy Thomas in
Halifax Co. VA. 25 March 1833 by Rev. Thomas Dobson. I know her parents were Elisha
Thomas and Polly (Owens). Her father was born in Amelia Co. VA. and they were
married in Halifax Co. VA. I'm looking for William's parents. Do you have an idea where to
look?? After he and Lucy had two boys, they were in 1840 census in Henderson Co. KY. Shortly
after 1840, Lucy died and William and the 2 boys left for Warrensburg, Johnson Co. MO. He then
remarried Nancy (Divers) Divers, a widow of Bailey Divers, in Warrensburg,
Johnson Co. MO. In 1950's a lady of the Divers, wrote to relatives in Pettis Co., MO.
and Johnson Co., MO. asking for information. She received enough information to fill 3
microfilms. That film is about the Greer's & Divers, etc. From them came information
that William Hood was born 1808, Bumcombe Co. N.C. But in the 1850 census he says he was
39 years, born VA. 1860 census he says he was 49 years born in VA. I have a book of Wills in
VA. and it has 4 Hood wills in Amelia Co. VA. Since the Thomas family was in
Amelia Co. VA., maybe this is the family I need. What do you think? Any place I should look,
