daughter of Nathan DONNE m William Davis Jacob CORSON son of John CORSON and
Jane Mary BURROWS b. March 07, 1783 m. 1811 Elizabeth FIESTER daughter of Godrey
FIESTER b. 1746 and Mary Magdalena Kepner b. 1755 I believe that some or all of
these families came to Virginia from Pennyslvania. They settled in Woodbridge and/or Occoquon.

MARTIN -
I am looking for any information on Menan M. MARTIN, who was born in Virginia around 1775.
Around 1805, he married a woman from North Carolina named Elizabeth and settled in Overton
County, Tennessee in 1806. Their oldest child was Obediah T. L. Martin, who was born in
1807. They had 13 children and owned about 1000 acres of land in Tennessee. Menan died in 1849. I
am looking for information on Menan's birth, siblings, and ancestors in Virginia.

I'm searching for Duncan OLIPHANT, born abt 1788. Was married to Sarah BEEMER,
Moved with his family to Harrison Co. Ohio, early 1800's. In the 1900 history of Harrison Co., it
says that he signed of from the Goose Creek area of Southern Virginia. Does anyone know wher this

GREEN family Frederick GREEN was born in England, came to Va. (unknown county)
about 1745 and married Mary ???. He died in 1781 as a prisoner on Sullivan Island during the Rev.
War. His children are: Roger b. 1769 m. Sarah LINDSEY and they moved to Georgia; John and
Frederick Jr. I know there are many Frederick GREEN's in Va. Anyone connect with this
one??

JEWELL, RICHARDSON, RICHESON -
Reesden (also spelled "Risden") RICHARDSON (also spelled as RICHESON)
married Sarah "Sally" JEWELL on Nov. 26, 1818. They had 7 children (4 boys:
Noah, Alexander, Jewell (Juel), & Powell; and 3 girls: Sarah Jane, Elizabeth, & Jemima -
the last child born in 1831). I've been trying to find a line on this family prior to Reesden
(or Risden), but so far I've come up blank. There is no mention of Reesden in the 1810 Census
of Montgomery Co., VA. Family oral history has it that Risden and "his brothers"
moved into Montgomery County from down around Roanoke/Bedford, VA. So far this has been the end
of the line for me. Anybody having anything on Risden (Reesden) RICHARDSON would be a
welcome sight! There were also a Jacob and a Soveron "RICHESON"
(RICHARDSON) listed along with "Risden" in the 1820 Census - not sure if there
was a connection, and as I said this has been the end of the line for me. Thanks for any
information.

I'm looking for some information concerning my grandmother. She was born in Wise County in1894.
She was called Lena, but I believe that her given name was Lenore. Her surname was
Lawson. I do not know her mother or father's names. Her mother died when she was a young
girl, and she live with a family in Saint Paul named Maxwell. My grandmother lived to be
93 years old, and I would like to know something of her family.

ROCKENBAUGH (Various Spellings), Henry; need any information on him or any other
Rockenbaughs in VA. LA 1850 Census, St. Mary Parish, has Henry age 34, cooper, born
Virginia, ca 1816; occupation is cooper. He married here in La ca 1835. I can find no others
with this surname during this time period in LA. Family is said to have originated in Ireland,
but had German connections. Any help greatly appreciated.

Seeking info on the Virginia origins of Joseph VAUGHN, born about 1747 (county unknown).
He married Elizabeth (maiden name unknown) while still in Vorginia and they had several children
before removing to Surry (later Stokes) County, North Carolina by 1786. Their children were
Anna, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Polly, Susannah, John, Mitchell, Joseph and Theodotia VAUGHN.

Am looking for any information about Henry Crawford, born in Virginia (before the West
came on) around 1812. Married on the third of May, 1862 to Sarah Jane White in Hamilton,
Illinois, Hancock County. I am searching for my husband. If all the information we have is
correct, My husband's grandfather , Henry, was born in 1812 in Virginia, his son Jacob Ray was
born on 6/14/1883, and my husband was born on 9/3/1946. This means that only three generations
span an almost two hundred year period. I would like to find information about Henry's family,

JAMES WASHINGTON ALEXANDER, b. 1821 in Rockingham Co. Va., m. up to five times. He
removed through Kanawha Co. WV (1844), and Saline Co. MO (1860) and died in Kansas City MO in
1893. He is the youngest son of William Alexander and Ann Bevans m. 1803 in
Albemarle Co. VA, and grandson of John Sheldon Alexander and Leah/Sarah [Fleming?]
from Somerset Co. MD. J.W. Alexander's brothers and sisters were in neighboring counties
in Va., and large family by his uncle Reuben Alexander. Had other uncles Asa and Samuel
of which I know nothing. Aunts were Sarah Alexander Walton, and Nancy
