Jesse Pollard m Juley Weatherford in VA circa 1820. First son, James (C or A)
Pollard was born in VA in 1820. Family migrated to TN by 1830 and are listed as 59 yrs old
in the 1850 Sevier Co census. Need to locate parents of both. Spellings of given names may vary.

PARRAMORE, WILSON -
I am searching for information on my ancestor William WILSON, b. 1748, d.1780; married to
Susan LOWRY (LOWREY), b.1753, d.1788. I do not know his parents nor where he was
born. Family stories say he was a Capt. in the Norfolk, VA Militia during the Rev. War.
They had one child named William WILSON, b. 1770, d.1840; married Susanna Cawthorn
McCULLOUGH, b.1775,d.1843. One of their sons named William Cawthorn Wilson, b.1801,
d.1876; married Roxanna PARRAMORE, b. 1808, d.1852. One of their sons named William
Cawthorn WILSON, b. 1837,d.1925; married Ordelia Shine BATTLE, b. 1838, d.1925.
These are my g. grandparents, and I have many records from here forward I am happy to share.

RAY, YOUNGER -
I am doing a research on my family history. I need information on James RAY who was born
around 1760 and a woman by the name of Polly Younger (daughter of John Younger Sr.)
They had children... I am not sure of how many. One of their son's is Charles Ray. I am
trying to find out if Polly is related to the Youngers that left Virginia and went to Tn,
Kentucky and on to Missouri (Cole Younger and his family )

I am trying to locate where James Crockett Lewis Sr. was born. He was most known by
Crockett Lewis. He passed away in Castlewood Virginia, in 1973. I am also looking for his
father's name, and place of burial. I know his mother's name was Eliza V. Thompson
Lewis. I am also looking for any information on the following names: Florence Lewis
Delph, Annie Lewis "Meade", and any other Lewis' that fit in this

STERLING -
Need to locate a John Sterling born about March 1854 somewhere in Virginia. The 1880
Census of Parker Co., TX is not clearly written so date "could" be 1864, another census indicates
ca 1852. He is NOT the John Cook Sterling, born Dec. 17, 1854 in the City of Richmond
because I have "his" death as a toddler in same location. Parents are clearly stated in that
birth record and the death record. HELP PLEASE!!! There IS a John Henry Sterling age 8 on
1860 Preston Co., VA census (later West Virginia). I don't locate him on 1870 census. Then 1880
he is in Parker Co., TX, age 28 shown and newly married. This morsel has possibilities.

I'm trying to find out about physician named M. Vaughan who was born in Virginia around
1809. He later moved to Lawrence County, Alabama. Are there any records on physicians at that
time? I'm trying to find out what county in Virginia was he originally from and who were his
other family members. He may have had a connection with the Gray family of Kentucky and
Lawrence County, Alabama.
I'm also trying to find out what county my ggggrandfather Ryland
Vaughn (or Vaughan) was originally from in Virginia. He also ended up in Lawrence
County, Alabama and may have had a connection with physician M. Vaughan and/or the
Gray family.

CROXTON, PARKER -
Seeking information on Bernard Croxton, who died around age 17 years sometime between 1939
and 1949. I know at one time he and his family lived in Essex County but also lived in Middlesex
and Matthews. His mother was Catherine Croxton (nee: Parker) and his father would
be Walter Croxton. Bernard is my mother's brother. I don't know how to go about finding
information on Bernard because some need a death certificate (like Census) but I don't have
enough information to request that. Bernard is buried in the Zoar Baptist Church in
Deltaville, but his grave is unmarked. We'd like to locate his grave location there and get him a
marker. The church says they need to know his date of death in order to help us find his location
in the cemetary. Siblings of Bernard include Julia E., Dean W., & Francis W. Any information at
all would be most appreciated.

GRANT, VERMILLION -
I would like to find the County and Township in Va. where my gggrandfather George Hall
GRANT was born in 1805. Also I would like to know who his parents were. His father could
also have been named George, but I don't know. Apparently he lived in Washington County, Ward 4
in Washington D.C. most of his life but according to census was born in Va. He married Margaret
Vermillion in 1826 in DC. I hope someone has info about him.

EADES -
I am trying to find the names of the parents (EADES). The history goes they moved from
Alnemarle Co. to Ky. (5) sons Drury, Barnett, Samuel, Wm.Carroll, and Lewis. On the back of
Barnett's marriage bond it says 2nd marriage age 76 about. He go on to say his parents were from
Va. and both were Native American who became citizens of the U.S. ... 24 Nov.1863 is the date on

OWEN, TREDWAY -
I am Looking for my Great Great Grandfather's place of birth and his parents. He was born in what
was Va. in 1798 and I suspect maybe in the part of Va. that became WV. later. Some of his papers
he is listed as Richardson Owen but most have him listed as Richard Owen. He
married in 1831 in Steubenville, Ohio and lived and worked there for the balance of his life. He
is listed as a tailor his wife was Susan Tredway and they had six children. Christiann;
William; Emma; Sarah; James and Mary Viola Owen. If anyone can help me I would appreciate

I have a Daniel Davis born in 1790 in Washington County Tenn. He married Hannah
Stoneman in Grayson County Virginia. She was the daughter of James Sr. and Sarah
Freeman. He was a Methodist lay preacher. I do know they went to Greenbrier County
Virginia and then to IL. I am looking for his parents
