CANNON, CHAMPION -
Looking for parents of John CHAMPION who was born in Virginia. He married Mary Polly"
CANNON (daughter of Robert and Elizabeth CANNON) in Mercer County, Kentucky in
1794. John CHAMPION died 18 May 1811in Washington County, Kentucky but Mary "Polly"
migrated with her children to Crawford County, Indiana and Henderson, Knox County, Illinois where
she died 12 January 1847 and is buried in the Rice / Blue Cemetery.

BROWN, LAMAR -
I'm looking for the parents of my gg grandfather, Ransom H. Brown, said to have been born
in the State of Virginia in about 1813-1815. I have no clue as to what county or as to the names
of either his parents or his siblings. All I know is that he married my gg grandmother, Mariah or
Maria Lamar, in DeKalb Co., Alabama in 1836. He later moved to Pontotoc Co., Mississippi,
and then further south to Neshoba Co. and Copiah Co., MS. He died between 1875 and 1880 while on
a cordwood gathering trip to Rolling Fork, MS. Thanks for any help on this.

I am searching for M.W. ROBERTS. The M could stand for Marion. He was a wheelwright. Born
around 1810 somewhere in Virginia. I have no other info except that in 1860 he was living in
Florida and later died in Florida. Any clues or assistance appreciated.

DANIELS, KERSEY -
I am looking for parents, birthplace in Virginia for my ggg grandfather. David Kersey,
born 23 July,1803. married to Susan Daniels 22 Jan.,1829 in Vigo County, Indiana where he
moved and had 8 children. 4 Nov,1892 he died in Iowa. Census records for early Virginia were lost
during the civil war. I would appreciate any help with finding any earlier records.

I am trying to find information on my g-g- grandfather Charles H. Barron who was suppose
to have been born in Virginia sometime around 1811. I do not know who his parents or sibling
were. I do not know what the H stands for. Charles ended up in Missouri and was married twice and

HILT, JACOBS -
Elisha Randal Jacobs born Virginia 1782. County unknown, Parentage unknown, married
Elizabeth Hilt in Ohio County Kentucky in 1813. Her father was Nicholas Hilt. She
was born in Maryland. I have found one Elisha Jacobs in Virginia in 1810 census. I have no

BERRY -
Am looking for brothers Moses, Isaac and William BERRY. Clay County, Illinois history
states that a Moses BERRY came there from Virginia about 1820 and was later joined by his
brothers Isaac and William BERRY. Moses BERRY went west and was never heard from
again. Isaac BERRY went to Northwestern Illinois and William BERRY went to Wayne
County, Illinois where he later died.
William BERRY is my direct family line. His
oldest child, Joseph Smith BERRY was said to be born in Washington or Wythe County,
Virginia between 1825 and 1827.
I'd like to find out what part of Virginia this BERRY
family came from. Who are the parents of Moses, Isaac and William BERRY?

BROWN, YOUNG -
I am trying to connect my great-great grandfather/grandmother with their Virginia ancestors - so
far to no avail.
The censuses say they were born in Virginia, but I've not been able to find
anything that connects them to parents or siblings. Here is what I have:
Evan Price
Young b. Jan 8, 1810 in Virginia d. Dec 25, 1879 in Lucas County, Iowa
Amanda F.
Brown b. Apr 6, 1815 in Virginia d. Feb 10, 1866 in Lucas County, Iowa
They were
married Aug 5, 1832 in Guernsey, Ohio . At least 4 of their 8 children were born in Ohio,
according to censuses, but I've not been able to prove this.
Any available information would
be greatly appreciated.

RAY -
George Ray lived in Virginia in the 1770's. He was born probably about 1740. He had sons
Solomon, Samuel and Mark Ray. They went to NC then to Wilkes co Ga by the mid 1780's. I do
not know what George Ray's wife's name was. Would anyone have the name George Ray
in their records? Thanks

I am looking for information on Lafayette Campbell who served in the 5th Regt. Virginia
Infantry, Co. E. He joined in Augusta, Co., but he may have lived in Nelson Co. The name of
Massies Mill has also been found. Any help would be appreciated.
