WILKES -
Looking for info on forefathers in Kent Co. VA. Thomas Wilkes (Claimed land Charles City
Co. 25 Feb 1653 - Imported by Fernando Austin- Pattent book 3 pp369 VA. Land Grants; Son: Joseph
Wilkes b.-about 1680, New Kent Co. Died about 1735 or after - owned 250 acres of land in
1704 ; On 26 Aug. 1734 deeded land in New Kent Co TO Richard Winn; had son John Wilkes b.
about 1710 and died Nov. 1778 new Kent Co. Would appreciate any info and where I can get copies

CARTER, HIGHTOWER -
I am searching for my great-great-great grandfather who might have lived in Rockbridge County, VA
in the late 1700's or early 1800's. His name is Frederick Alexander CARTER and he later
married Sally HIGHTOWER who was born in Amelia County, VA in 1787. My ggg grandfather was
born about 1780. I don't know where he was born or where he died, or where he is buried. Any and
all assistance will be greatly appreciated.

GRAHAM, LARUE -
I am searching for any info of my g,g,g, grandmother, Piety Larue b1809 VA, d 1866 Ohio.
Married to Henry Graham b1800 Ireland, d1857 Ohio, buried in Northwood Cemetery, Logan Co,
Ohio. No evidence indicates Piety Larue Graham is located with him and I do not
know which county in Va she was born so. Is it possible a family member would know if she was
sent to Va? Also any info appreciated.

HART -
Francis J. Hart was one of my grandfather's brothers. He was born 9/16/1899 in Dunkirk,
IN. According to an internet SSDI search and a minimal amount of family info, I am fairly certain
he died somewhere in Virginia in February 1964. He and his wife, Geneva, were resided in Myncie,
IN in 1930. My grandfather's obit indicated he may have been living in Connersville, IN in
December 1960. I would greatly appreciate any info about Francis, his wife, children,
grandchildren, etc. Thank you for any assistance you might be able to provide.

Looking for information on the parents of Joseph Gaston Ingraham, born in Va. abt. 1788,
died in Ms. abt. 1881. Have no clue as to names of parents, or which county they may have been

BRYANT, ELMORE, SIMS -
Seek information on a Cornelius Bryant who came from Ireland and settled somewhere in VA
prior to Revolutionary War. He would be a 3rd great- grandfather to me. I know he had a least one
son names Reuben (note some information shows his name as Cornelius also). Reuben lived in IL and
married Agnes Sims and died in IL about 1862. It is believed that Reuben and Agnes had 8
children, one who was also named Cornelius M. Bryant, who lived in IL, married A Sarah
Elmore and moved to CA. Happy to exchange information with anyone who can tell me anything
about the Cornelius born in Ireland.

Looking for info on James Redmond. 1850 census in Mercer County, PA shows James(age 55)
with his wife Catharine. The census indicates he was born in "Virginia" (~1795). This is my brick
