BUNN, DYER, POWELL -
I do not know which county to look for an Owen or Owin Bunn. I have him in NC about the
time his son Clemmons Bunn is born in 1811. They are in Wake Co. The rumor has it that
they came from VA. If anyone has info on Owin or Clemmons or their wives Sarah Dyer or
Cydia Powell please contact me

around 1780-1800. John L. Garland married a German, Barbara Ann Bollinger in

I'm looking for info on any LAWS family who may have moved from VA to Southeast MO in the
mid 1800s. I recently found that my gr-grandfather's parents were both (apparently) born in VA,
but I don't know their names. He (Newton C. LAWS) was born in Pemiscott County, MO in

Searching for parents, siblings of George Washington HARRIS, born 18 Aug 1818 in Virginia
-- county or township unknown. George W. Harris married Louisa Humphrey, born 28
Feb 1818. Their children: Thomas Louis, Commodore Perry, and Catherine HARRIS. George and
Louisa Harris moved to Indiana where their children were born, then relocated in Southern
Illinois by 1860. Any information on my elusive great-great grandparents appreciated!

GLEN, GLENN, SIMMONS -
I am attempting to find information on my father's family. My grandfather was Edward A. Glenn,
b. 1887 in Ohio, d. 1939 in Michigan. His father (my great grandfather) was G. Robert Glenn
(spelled Glen in some documents). I have a 1910 census from Benton Township, Ohio that says
that Edward's parents (G. Robert Glenn and Maggie (Baker?) Simmons) were born in
Virginia. I have no knowledge of which county or exactly when. I'm guessing that since Edward
Glenn was born in 1887 that his parents could have been born somewhere between 1850 and 1867.
Would love to be able to trace the Glenns back to Ireland, but will be grateful for anything
that matches up right now!

Am researching Martha FRANKLIN born VA ca 1813 .. parents unknown .. she married Marcus L
BROWN in 1828 in Ala .. think she was niece to Samuel FRANKLIN also born VA later lived
Ohio and died in Ind .. Martha lived Ohio. Tenn, and White co Ill .. where she died .. Samuel married
a Sarah JENNINGS boRn in PA .. am stumped on this one..

RICHARDSON -
I am trying to find out what happened to Captain Samuel Richardson after the War. Info I have-
He was appointed Captain Apr. 20 1778 in Goochland Co. I find him on the 1788 census with 546-1/2
acres and listed as Captain Samuel Richardson and on the 1794 Goochland Co census I find him
with 546-1/2 acres. I know I have the right Samuel and no other Samuel Richardson listed during this
time. He must have died and land was disposed of but cannot find will or etc. I am trying to find
his death and burial place. He is my gggg- grandfather and any help or suggestion would be deeply
