HUNT, KITTERMAN -
I am looking for a Martha b. abt 1811 in Virginia married a Unknown Hunt. Her birth is
taken from the age she gives on Samuel's Pension papers. The first child I have that they had is
Samuel Hunt b. 1839 in Fayette County, Kentucky. I do know that they moved from Virginia
to Kentucky and from Martha and Samuel are found in Daviess County, Indiana. Samuel got married
to Sally Jane Kitterman in August 1868 in Gibson County, Indiana Martha died in 1885 in
Daviess County, Indiana
I got Martha's name from Samuel Civil War papers but it does not give
his father's The first I can find Martha in the Census is 1860 in Martin County, Indiana Any help
with this family would be greatly appreciated.

I am searching for parents and sibling of William Whooley, born abt 1720 in Augusta of
Botetourt County, Virginia. Wm was reputed to be a farmer and a surveyor. He married Barbary ??
Unknown. Need to find her maiden name and parents, place of birth, etc. William and Barbary had 9
children, all of the children were born in Augusta Co, Va, namely

estimated dates of birth with the exception of David.
I would love to correspond with anyone
researching these lines, I have a lot of information on the Whooleys ( various spelling
Wooley/ Owley - Ky recd's/ Oley/ Owley/ spelling changed in Indiana
to Ooley, for some, others were able to keep the Wooley spelling)
We know that
Wm & Barbary sold their farm abt 1788 and their children had already gone to Ky, they are all
listed in the 1790 Kentucky Census.

HANEY, WILSON -
I am looking for for more information concerning (parents county of birth in Virginia etc) of
William James Wilson born-about 1774/1775 in Virginia. A marriage record in Rutherford
County NC list his wife as Miss Nance Haney about 1803. Census records for Yancey County
NC list he resided with his son Phillip in 1840, 1850, 1860. His children are listed:

CONKEY, GILMORE -
Looking for help in locating a Gilmore/Conkey connection in the late 1700's,
probably after 1750. One of my ancestors was named John Conkey Gilmore. We can not locate
either parent. His Y-DNA is Native American, possibly of Algonquin origin. He 1st shows up in KY
in 1802, but his grandsons thought he might have been from VA. Does anyone have any information?

COLLOM, MAHONE -
I am in need of a VA researcher to find any data on William Mansfield Mahone I know very
little about him except where he was born; where he moved to; who he married Would and could
someone please help with research in VA
Known facts: William Mansfield Mahone, Born 15
Nov 1804 In VA (county unknown). Came To Cass Co, TX about 1840, Married Caroline Brooks
Collom 14 Sept 1841 in Wavell Colony , Bowie Co/Red River, TX. They had 8 children, all
born in Bowie Co, TX before 1859 We think he fought in the Civil War on the Confederate side and
was killed during that time but we don't find a good match for his service time, death or burial
location.
One of the problems I have is when I do a general search is I'm bombarded with info
on the William Mahone of VA-Confederate Cap't, engineer & statesman!

2, 1873. They had one son, Walter Arlington Kendall, born April 20, 1874. Appreciate any

Looking for possible birth records on GGG grandfather John Province born abt. 1783 in
Virginia, unknown county. He died in Washington County, MO after 1840; trying to determine if
original spelling of last was "Province" or "Provence". I guess we weren't honored
for literacy then.

1892 obituary, he was born in Virginia (no county was given) in 1816. He later moved to Kentucky

CRIGER, CRIGGER, WARNER -
Searching for marriage verification for S. (Suldie or Serilda) J. (Jennie) Criger (aka
Crigger) to W. O. (Wilbur O.) Warner on 16 May 1890. Some family info I have been
given indicates the marriage took place in Cumberland Gap, VA; however, I found her obit which
states it was Shawanda, TN. I cannot find Shawanda, TN on current state map. Her obit states she
was born in Claiborne, TN on 07 Mar 1870. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Significant date is 1750+ or - 20yrs. William Spicer m: Lydia Johnson. Their
daughter Mary Spicer m: Michael Burns. I'm trying to track where in VA they lived,
