SAFFER -
I am searching for information on William Saffer. I have only the dod as 12 Feb 1792 in
Virginia. Also possibly there was a land grant of 249 acres in 1757. Any information would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.

PATTERSON -
Searching for William Patterson who MAY have been in Bedford/Campbell Counties in VA
before 1800. His brothers move to TN ca. 1802. Brothers are Thomas, Willis and James. William's
wife is listed as "Cillar" in a document from Campbell county about 1804. Any information
appreciated.

HAWK, HILL -
Looking for parents/family of Pleasant HILL, born 25 Dec 1780 in Virginia (county
unknown), died 07 Jan 1851, Franklin Co., TN, married about 1806 to Adelphia Hawk (b 19
Oct 1791,VA, d 27 Mar 1853, Franklin Co., TN.) They had children (Robt. H., Edwin G., born in
VA,and possibly Albert G. and Louisa Marie Bizerah born in VA.) They moved to TN around
1818-1819, and had Martha Emily, Juliann, Frances Musadore, George Washington, Mary Jane,
Pleasant Richard and Isabella. Have traced all of the children, except Albert, to various places
in Tennessee, Mississippi and Texas. I'll be glad to share information -- but would love to find
where Pleasant and Adelphia started out! Thanks!

NEFF, PAINTER -
Looking for information on Jacob Neff b.19 Jan 1791 in Virginia. He married Sarah
Painter on 13 Feb, 1818, also in VA., possibly Berkeley. She gave him 3 sons, John S.,
William and Jacob Tillison, all born in Virginia between 1821 and 1829. She died and then he
could have remarried. Any information on any of these people would be appreciated. Thank you

PINKARD -
Looking for info on Claude James Pinkard who died in 1927. He was supposed to have died
from a train wreck, but there may have been other circumstances involving his death. Any info
would be appreciated or any suggestions as to how to find out anything about this. This occurred
in Pulaski County Va.

Looking for info in Pulaski County Va. for Ethel Byrd who married Frank Meredith in
Bristol, Tn in 1907. She had 2 children, Thelma and Helen. She died aroung 1917.

Looking for my gggreat grandfather William Gibson. Found him & family in Russell Co, Va
1860 census .. William Gibson born-1815 Ky age 45 in 1860 census- wife(possible his 2nd wife-
Martha ? born 1820 VA. age 40
Children: 1- Rebecca age 18; 2-Elizabeth age16; 3-Lewis age 9;
4-John age 8; 5-Amos age 6; 6-Solomon age 5-(born in Va-possible Russell Co,WV.; 7-Jacob age 3;
8-Mary age2
Some say William may of been married before there is alot of age difference
between the first child & 3rd... Anyone having information on William, Martha & children,would be
greatly appreciated_

COTTLE, LOWE -
I am looking for information regarding my great, great, great grandfather, George Washington
Cottle, Sr. I have two different birth years; i.e., one about 1795 in Highland, Scotland,
and, the other about 1806 in Virginia. He was supposed to have came to Monroe County, now West
Virginia, from Williamsburg. His first wife was Rebecca Lowe; his second wife Anna Mariah
Lowe. He died in 1868. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

HIGGENBOTHAM, TURNER, WARRICK -
I am trying to get some info on Rebecca Warrick of Amherst County, VA. I have been told
that she was also related to the Higgenbothams of Amherst County, VA. The Warricks
owned property of some size there in the county. I can remember my mother and aunts receiving
checks from the Amherst County Court House. Rebecca married Archie Turner and they resided
in Sewickley, PA
